Sorry to say. Will be leaving tundra family. Have sunk over 6500 in truck repairs. Bought truck used with some issues I fixed. But truck keeps eating my bank account. Have now til Sunday a 2wd 2010 5.7 double Cab. See so many the ad issues on tundra. I know people will say all trucks have issues. But have had 2 small trucks and first gen tundra. Drove all 3 total 600000 miles with just general maintenance.

Sorry that you had problems, so you're buying a Semi to alleviate them?

The fog and lack of color represent his sadness and the semi represents his long journey, hauling a load that was empty all along.

And light at times even after all harnesses and wheel sensors replaced.grinding noise near rear of can when driving had all u joints replaced and carrier bearing still same noise.

    THAT ^^^ is exactly right.

Most have forgotten. But 4/5 years ago the USA had 3 boughts of insane flooding. A crappot of vehicles were "insuranced" and then found their way back into the marketplace.

I see big rigs, I also see a pickup truck & some sort of a car. Look back 1 row folks.
I see someone who works around big rigs & probably is familiar with 'normal' maintenance to keep vehicles running 1 million + miles.

@Toypower Sorry you got a bad example. We had big wind the other night & a chunk of paint blew off the hood of my Tundra. Mine has a new frame, all new hard lines underneath, patched rear end.... It's been a real P.O.S. compared to my Tacoma. But my F250 was also an attention whore. I'm finding the big pickups are built to be scrapped at 100k. You can keep them going, but it gets costly. Smaller trucks just seem to be easier to keep going longer - in my experience.

The big trucks ride so much nicer, but they just don't seem to handle their greater weight well.
Perhaps a lesson for us all - LOL.

Hurricane Harvey in Houston in 2017 specifically. So many of those vehicles made their way back to the market.
“An estimated 300,000 structures and 500,000 vehicles were damaged or destroyed in Texas alone.”

Got a dollar that says this dude knew he bought a flood truck.
