Only reason I'll even consider buying into (and loving) the idea of global warming!

I know. I deserve the Nobel Peace Prize instead of Al Gore. I need the money to fill up my truck.

Too late, Al Gore needs the carbon credits for his private jet.

Bull honkie, they claim the earth is hundreds of millions of years old and have maybe 120 years of records. The weather cycles, sometimes its hotter sometimes its colder. So what if you have a record setting freeze or hot spell. Use to happen when I was a kid and nobody freaked out about it back then... If they really did believe there own crap they would be targeting all these developing countries and enforcing environmental controls there too. But they arn't. The US of A has the highest standards in the world yet its still not good enough. Why not let the rest of the world catch up first!

Its a way to control us, keep us scared and the let the gov. take care of us...

Have you guys looked at the data? The claim is not that from year to year, it will steadily rise. Temperature fluctuates, but the trend is very obvious.

One of the immediate effect is the sea level rise. It's predicted about 1 million houses will be lost by the end of this century.

This is not even a controversial issue within the scientific community. Only in politics does this become an issue. Why don't we deny evolutionism as well while at it. Oh, wait a minute. . . What's next? Earth is flat?

Huh, so back in 1900 I guess they were worried about global cooling... And conveniently the sea rise chart starts at 1900. I'd like to see if that number fluctuates. So in 116 years the ocean has risen approx. 4 to 6 inches and the earth has risen in temp by 1.33 degrees fahrenheit. Not a huge number for 100 years. Statistics and charts can be manipulated.

However, I will agree to disagree with you for risk of being banded due to the political nature of this conversation. I respect your right to believe what you want.
