I was browsing this forum a few weeks ago and was introduced to the Bead Maker product by someone posting a photo of their black truck that looked like a mirror. You couldn't tell the color it was so reflective. That person had used Bead Maker.

I did some research on the product then ordered a bottle. All I can say is that I wish I had found this stuff years ago. I love it. I can wash then dry the car using bead maker during the drying process and be done in an hour. The Tundra takes a little longer due it being tall and having the football field sized roof. This product so easy to use. I will never wax a car again. The beading of the rain, the slickness of the surface, and the shine once cured is awesome. My car looks washed even after a rain now and to wash it again takes little effort.

Once again I want to thank those members that introduced us to Bead maker and posted their photos and reviews to show us the results.

    Dooo it!

In the detail section, Jason @War Machine writes up a review and he gives me his regimen to do a first application, by decontaminating your truck first and clay mitt'ing before applying Hydro2 and then Bead Maker.

I would recommend a gallon since you ideally would apply liberal amounts the first time.

Yeah I used almost an entire bottle my first go round. Second time only used a few ounces.

At most the whole step of decontaminating would be done once, maybe twice a year and you can apply Bead Maker other times when you wash.

No I didn't clay the car. I just washed it. Blew it somewhat dry with a leaf blower. Then sprayed the product liberally on the surface and used 3 micro fibers to wipe off. One wet, one semi wet then one dry to buff it.

That should be fine. Go ahead and read a few pages of the thread I linked on post #4, in there is the steps to decontaminate your panels and that will help the Hydro2 and Bead Maker set in better.

Yeah I plan to do that at some point. I had not even heard of claying a car until last year. I have since watched some you tube vids of it. I don't quite understand how claying doesn't scratch the surface of the clear coat though if its picking up stuff.

There's a lube that you spray on as you rub the clay mitt or bar on the panels.

So the lub keeps it from scratching the surface. I see.
