Installed a Gibson 3" dual in single out muffler (BM0110) on my 2011 5.7. Exhaust is stock otherwise. Pleasantly surprised with the sound. On my 3 previous Tundras I installed the complete Catback, Gibson 7101. The full catback is a bit louder, true dual, has a higher pitched tone, but I actually like the sound of just the muffler better, it's deeper and has an echo charteristic of DOHC engines. No drone or raspiness at all, moderately to aggressive loudness. For $80 I'm completely satisfied with it.

Very nice. I'm dying to change my exhaust to something that reflects the awesomeness of the 5.7. That sounds great.

Man I was hoping there was a straight bolt on set up I could put in. I’m looking around. I’m debating either Gibson or magnaflow.

I had complete true dual Gibson Catback on my prior 3 Tundras, they sound amazing! It's what I was planning on getting before doing just the muffler, and I still might get one in the future. They are on the louder side but not obnoxious.

    That sounds really really good!
I've been holding out in changing my trucks exhaust sound, really not sure what to go with yet.
Yours has the tone that has been in my head.
Could I convince you to make a recording as its rolling along the streets and highways, please?
    Would greatly appreciate it.

Same. Would love to hear this outside drive by-inside at cruising highway speeds and from a stop under normal loads.

Do you have a 2.5 inlet to a 3 inch outlet tip?

I put a magnaflow muffler on at the end of summer and I might like this one better! Amazon? I would also like to hear it while you were driving if possible ?

2 days to arrive from Amazon.

Here's an in cabin video with windows up and one short portion with them down but too much wind noise so rolled back up. I would say it's a little louder in reality then the video sounds but should give a general idea.

    https://youtu.be/BUmLFZ5JP1I

I'm really blown away, it sounds so good and cost so little. I don't see buying the full Gibson Catback, even though I loved them too on my previous 3 Tundras, but I like this the same if not more.

Sounds good. I went with a Spintech custom street muffler. It's sounds great, but comes with some drone. Might have to swap. :D

    Curse you Perry the Platypus!
I've had both Gibson and Magnaflow before but on different trucks. No complaints about either brand but I prefer the straight through design and deeper/mellow sound of a Magnaflow. You can't go wrong with either.

The Gibson dual sport Catbacks use a straight through louvered design with internal crossover (x pipe) and no packing. The Gibson MWA mufflers are also a straight through design without packing or baffles. I've heard the Tundra magnaflow mufflers also and they have a great sound as well, but too quiet for my taste.
