Hell man, this is like the fucking end times, I've lived at this duplex condo place for the past 5 years. In that time I've trapped 2 possums and 3 groundhogs.

Yet this time there is a fucking skunk living under my shed in the back yard. I can see where he digged under the wooden fence. I've seen that mother fucker a couple times up by my front door when I get home late at night. Lucky me he was a coward ass SOB and ran away back under my fence after I yelled at him.

I've seen him a couple other times running under my shed when I was putting the trash out at night.

The damn thing is I hate to put a trap out, if the skunk is stupid enough, he might scent all over the place once he's in the trap.

Any suggestion to get rid of the skunk is appreciated. I do have a .22 rifle and a 9mm Glock, hate to fire a gun when your neighbors are like 1-2 yards apart. Firing at a skunk seems like I'd also make things worse anyways.

Live traps work just fine. Put a tarp over the whole thing and transport the bugger to your favorite relocation area and let go or your choice of removal.

I wouldn’t fire a gun in city limits. Usually your not allowed to unless it’s self defense. The live trap method works. I helped a neighbor one time do it. We tied a 50ft rope to the cage before we caught it. Then when we caught it we just drug it off to where we could get rid of it. Now that was in the country tho. You could put a tarp over the trap after you catch it to minimize the spray I suppose. Your gonna smell no matter what if your close to them when they spray. You might wanna go buy a couple gallons of tomatoe juice in case :D

Tomato juice doesn't work for shit.

Masengille feminine dusches work amazingly well. I had a yellow lab the just loved tangling with pole cats. Fuckker.

True, but do you want it to die under your deck or house?

Put a cat that's in heat in a wire box trap. The sounds overnight will let you know if it worked.

To bad you don’t live in one of the 17 states it’s legal to have a domestic skunk as a pet. Playful little suckers. :D

I would live trap as others have stated.

Yeah, tomato juice didn't work for my dog, either. Never knew about the feminine douches. If there's a next time, I'll try to remember that.
