I have a generic EZ detail wheel brush from O'Reilly. I was helping my niece wash her 2011 Accord recently, and I guess the front hubs had been serviced recently and whoever did it left a lot of extra grease hanging on the hub area and such. Of course now my detail brush is coated with wheel/axle/bearing grease. I soaked it in a bucket with 32 ounces of purple power diluted in 3 gallons of water, and it seemed to help some, but its still pretty nasty. Does anyone have any ideas for trying to get this usable again, or should I just toss it and get a new one?

    Pic for reference...

Tried dawn soap? Apply it to it and agitate it out.
Also an all purpose cleaner. Same directions.

Brakleen will blast it right out but probably cost as much as the brush. A cut off 2 liter bottle and some mineral spirits would also work. Know anybody with a parts washer??? A little dishsoap and hot water to remove the solvent afterwards.
