I have a 2015 Toyota Tundra Crew Max SR5 5.7 L V8 4x4 that I want to get 35" Nitto Trail Grappler tires with the Rock Star 18" matte black rims on a 2.5-3 in Rough Country Leveling kit. Will I have any issues with these rubbing or not fitting properly? I just want to make 100% sure before I go through with the purchase. Thanks.

    Oh one or two.
it all depends on your offset I'm running 35x12.50's on a 18x9 +20mm offset with about 1.5" of lift up front with nearly no rubbing.

I'm running 275/65/20 on 2008 sr5 crewmax tire is 34.1" tall. I have a motofab level lift 3" front and 2" rear and my tires will just barely rub if I turn all the way.

How high would I need to get it lifted with no rub? This is what I am looking at getting:
    4 - Ulra Gauntlet Bolt 198B 18x9 5x150 25
    4 - Nitto Terra Grappler G2 LT35x12.5R18

Would a 3x2.5 rough country leveling kit work or am I looking more at a 6 inch lift? Let me know. Thank you.

I know a number of people are running 35s with 2.5-3" of lift. I think you just have to trim or bend the skid plate a little to avoid rubbing. As for the lift, I would recommend going with a better setup than the spacer kit. Especially if you plan to take the truck on rough roads or off-road.

Did you ever get those ultra gauntlet rims to fit with your lift kit without any issues.

I found a set used online and want to use it for my winter tires/rims but I have a 3" lift on my truck and am worried about fitment as its not one of the rims listed for a tundra with a lift.

Anything you can share should be helpful.

It is more of the wheel offset and tire size that causes rubbing. There is a guy on TT who was running 35's with NO lift and NO rubbing...but he was running Rock Warrior wheels that have a +60 offset.

Typically, rubbing occurs on the body mount and/or front wheel well liner. So, regardless of how high you go, the tire will rub at those locations if the offset and tire size are such that those come into play. If you want to avoid rubbing, stick to somewhere around +30 or +35 wheel offset. The way the wheel well is shaped, keeping to a less aggressive wheel offset (higher number) will keep the wheel tucked into the wheel well; thus avoiding the aforementioned areas where more aggressive offsets hit.
