Lol, I'm very close to finishing the install. I'd like to complete it, drive the truck for a month or 2, and get familiar with everything while making sure it’s all working properly under a conservative tune. Complete all the install videos. After that, I’m planning to move on to the fuel upgrade as a second phase!

It'll be fun when it is installed. You'll also be able to see which flavor of fueling upgrades supports what level of boost/HP so you can make the best decision for your situation.

    Keep up the great work

    Yeah buddy!!

Also, we've had a few customers ask, so want to Clarify, the only reason we were able to swap the compressor housing for JEGO was he hadn't installed and ran it yet, so it was still brand new. For anyone who already has the kit and wants the T51R mod. Here are the (2) options:
    1. Send your cover in, $399 (+ship), but has the downtime of machining, typically 2-3 weeks
    2. Buy a new cover, $189, add the $399 (+ship) to it and then you have what you need.
If by chance you haven't installed the kit and the turbo is still new / unused, we can absolutely swap it out for just the cost of the T51R mod as we did with JEGO.

    Thanks!

Update with pictures. Including some calculated leaked photos.

The fabricator has been working on the fueling upgrades. He got to thinking about the @armyoffoo build and drilling out the venturi in the basket, etc. He was worried about those open feed lines in the bottom draining the basket out if the fuel sloshed to the back of the tank instead of retaining whatever was in the basket. So, he tested the flow of the stock non-FFV basket/venturi with the new DW430c pump. That alone, without a return line hooked up to the basket, ran 10 gallons of full flow and the basket never showed any signs of starvation. So, we opted to leave the backet alone except for the Radium return line venturi feed. Knowing the basket stayed full without any return line connected says the return line venturi is just going to be icing on the cake and likely the overkill required to never have to address this again. If we do, we know we'll just add those two feed tubes to the basket. This is the diagram and the photos.

And because I suck at keeping secrets, here's the new stainless turbine housing, liquid cooled, ball bearing Garrett G42 1200. Thank you @TurboKits for being as invested in this build as I am and for getting creative in how to stretch the budget!

That's great. What a coincidence. I spoke with radium yesterday about the venturi. He said the same for the return with duck bill and Walbro 450. I drilled out the stock venturi and plan on running the venturi pickup 18 inches back with a pick-up in each corner. Stainless 5/16 tube with submersible fuel hose to my Walbro pickups.

*decided not to do it. Baffle is in the way and didn't feel like the extra work.

Wasn't even a thought at the beginning, to be honest. And then I got a phone call and it made too much sense not to do it. And here we are.

The stars literally couldn't have aligned any better. Because we were already working the turbo back exhaust, and the heat shielding, and because this is still a T4, it'll get bolted on and then everything else will be worked like it was already planned to be.

Again, it was literally perfect timing and he's ridiculously kind to help make this happen.

Neither can I!! We are a little concerned about the 4" downpipe, but at the tire it'll be converted to a lower profile 4" oval, all the way through the bend where it cuts back inside the frame rails. The math says it is even lower profile than the existing clearanced 3".

Otherwise, it'll be the same as it currently is once under the truck, just 4" all the way.

    That looks gorgeous @Jego

Jesse sacrificed a Saturday and went to his fabricator's shop to button up all of the fueling system. It is fully running and driving again after a 100% rework of the entire fueling system.

Basket, pump, lines, external filter, rails, 880cc injectors, external FPR, return line venturi, etc. 100% good to go with an updated tune to support it enough to move it around.

Turbo and exhaust work has been discussed in detail and the fabricator should be back on mid-week after the cranks out a rear-ended swap for one of the race customers.

This, IMO, was the most complicated and time consuming part of the project, so happy days.

We did make the decision to skip the wiring upgrades for now. If we end up seeing any fueling related issues, we'll just order the upgraded harness from DW and be done with it, but we're not convinced it was needed, so we'll have a data point. And if we end up revisiting, we'll have another data point.

I don't think flow is the problem, and having everything stock bypassed, I'm hoping the power demands will be low enough to not be an issue. Time will tell.

    Halfway done and it's drivable.

Edit: photos (hard to see all the goodies because the rails, lines and connections are all black)
