Well, I’m happy to report that my catch can is finally working after doing that mod that you all suggested to the radium PoS catch can. 1k miles since the new trans (oil change and catch can mod right before it went back to the shop for the second time) and we have about 1/2” in the catch can. Murky watery oily scum. Will empty each 5k oil change from now on. Now that I know it’s working.

Most jeeps I’ve been around are suicidal. Just had to help my buddy with a 2008 JK that had some mean death wobble going.

Thoughts on a billet supercharger snout that's opened up to run a larger throttle body? Then no worries about porting and minimal downtime to get a fully opened up snout.

I was just thinking of this today of a forward TB snout like Viktor did on the harrop. Would allow for dual intakes etc

Alright gears and lsd in. Sounding mean with the downpipes and the fresh gears right now. Granted I've only babied it about 15 miles with stop and go and 4wd on slow straights. Thinking get the valve body work done and some fine tuning on the transmission , waiting to hear back on undefined tranny tables on editor from @JustDSM, id say feeling confident transmission should last.......well in theory

I'm betting the price difference between porting and a one from scratch is pretty close to each other. And one of the issues on the Magnuson is if you port it now you're committed to the large throttle body since the O-ring groove gets eliminated on the snout. So a replacement at least leaves the option to swap back. Especially if the price is in the $400-ish range? Hell that's what Armyoffoo paid for some literal spacers :D

That'd be pretty trick for you and your dad's setup!

I might have to vaguely draw one up and get a rough quote to see if it's feasible.

Remove all the guts from the radium catch can and toss in some scotch brite scrubber pad in the reservoir and you're good to go.

Haha yeah I tried searching google and it yielded nothing. There is a write up somewhere, I think by @Silver17 (maybe). Either way, you open it up (remove from bracket) remove the screw that holds a metal piece on (small, underside, gives access to the check valve), remove the ball check valve, and toss in the scrotch brite piece in the catch can itself (not the top piece) and it starts working. Real big bummer to have to jerry rig it after spending $250 on the damn thing.

Glad to hear you're back on the road!
I spoke to Justin and our calibrations cannot be altered, at this time, to add the TCU tables that we are missing. HPT is working on it but I wouldn't expect results soon. I have a help ticket submitted with HPT right now on the subject and hope to make some headway there. I will keep you and others updated as things progress.

I'm grateful I got a Radium before they outsmarted themselves as it has worked great since installation...granted, it's 100% not worth their proud price!
