I though that you only had to be online so they could do their checks and to make sure you're following their rules, not for the entire duration of the flash, or am I misunderstanding?

It was weird as that was my understanding that HPT needed to verify and process and that was it. It could of hung up on the start but didn't give the fail to init and stop like it usually does.

Thanks for the insight. You are dubbed ECU Jesus.

Any chance you are anyone else revisited Interchiller? I've been seeing a big emergence of electric A/C compressors pop up on my YT feed.

I dunno. I’ve been having some really odd teams and network issues the last week and a half. I’m wondering if there’s a server down somewhere or in the process of being hacked that’s causing all of these problems.

I tell everyone have a guaranteed stable Internet connection, even hotspot off the phone if your Wi-Fi is sketchy. For some reason I was under the impression it needed continuous Internet or freaked out.

If you want control over your tune there is HPT. OTT for their knowledge of both HPT and VFT canned tunes to dyno.
Been rocking the @snivilous tune for a few years with continuing education along the way.

It is worth noting @snivilous has one of the highest mileage boosted Tundras. If I am recalling correctly it is approaching 400K miles half of which were boosted.

Still rocking the universal kit from fiinterchillers.com...A/C is still cold as ice, post-intercooler IATs are below ambient until I get some heat into it, then it's usually only a few degrees above ambient. Temps rise when sitting in traffic, but come down quickly once I get moving again.

I'm probably going to need new tires by the end of this month at this rate :burnrubber::spending: I know it sounds like it bogs when I first lit em up but I saw a car in the distance and thought it looked like a cop so I didn't want the tires billowing smoke and held back. As soon as I realized it was just regular traffic I hammered down and resumed being the neighborhood degenerate. The LSD and being able to go sideways now is a gamechanger.

Yes, I think @reywcms and I are fairly locked in on that since we sold the ones he had bought :D I'd also like to continue the drop in dual pump setup too, but that's a bit less priority. Though I may as well get both designs done if I'm sending parts to the machine shop so we'll see...

No idea on the ETA of them, but certainly in the next few months since I want Rey's truck out of here sooner rather than later. I still stand by only pump and injectors being a necessary upgrade for the vast majority of people though.

    Fair enough.
I think most people getting a blower tow and from what I understand your pig has been a towing workhorse until you switched rigs.

My point wasn't to sensationalize the metrics but I think you are doing something right if you have that many boosted miles on your truck. Many end up in grenadeville; few show high mileage.

Plus I am reading off the script Suolivins gave me.

Nice! If possible, could you please include a 1/8-27 NPT port (or any other standard) for fuel pressure sensors (https://www.innovatemotorsports.com/pressure-sensor-0-150-psi-10-bar-w-harness.html) and diagnostics?

I’ll be ready to place the first order as soon as it becomes available for sale!!:)

Does anyone know if there is a throttle related field in HPT that can target the AC? There was miscommunication with the shop. Somehow they turned how's it going into gimme my car & were blaming the ECU for my 1200 RPM AC shut down. I explained no, I just needed to leave to get it when I called to be there before they closed & the issue occurred on the new ECU pre tune.

Also, since they think it is throttle related is there a possibility it is RCF TB related?

With the air tubes gone on the LT headers it makes it almost enjoyable to install/remove for starter/transmission work etc.

The AC amplifier does connect directly to the ECU (AC1 and ACT), so there is a possibility that there is some logic in the ECU that could be affecting the function. Maybe there is a software/firmware compatibility issue between the ECU and AC amplifier? No idea really, just throwing shit to see what sticks...

No chance that the TB is causing it.

Diagram below is from MY2018+, so might be different for your truck...

@e30cabrio is there any chance you have some loose, bent, damaged, etc, ECU pins causing all your recent issues? Kinked harness?

Anything is possible, I had issues after the motor replacement but they were "resolved" I hope it's not that.

    Thanks
