Hello everyone, I've had my 2021 TRD Pro Tundra for about 5 weeks. I very had several fill ups in gas, with range saying 425 to 430 mile till empty on full tank.
This consistant every time, I'm even keeping a gas log.
However this last fill up now read over 600 miles till empty? Not complaining but what magic occurred? Same gas, 87 octane, same amount avg 25 to 27 gallons on fill up. Any thoughts?

Did you disconnect the battery for anything? If you unhook your battery the DTE resets.

Run a few tanks and it'll come down. To be honest, your 400+ readings are probably exaggerated as well. It takes a while for the computer to be more accurate.

You da man...that's exactly what I did. I disconnected battery while I installed the long gun storage from esp under back seats. For a minute there I thought truck was identifying as a hybrid. Lol! So the 400 mile range is more accurate for a 38 gallon tank I take it.
    Thanks brother..solves mystery.

With the 38 gallons tank my DTE was usually around 350-375. If yours stays at 400+ you arr doing great.

I think that your DTE is pretty accurate OP. Mine consistently shows 425-430 to empty and then after I get to under a quarter tank but before the light comes on I put about 26-28gal into my 38gal tank due to the reserve it likes to keep…

Side note: This being my 5th Tundra, and just my opinion… the ‘21 TRD Pro is the very sweet spot in value of all the Tundra years (to this point anyway) for quality and overall performance and (for what I would say nowadays) all at a reasonable price tag - hopefully you enjoy yours as much as I do mine!!

Thanks brother, it's my first truck an bought on impulse, sold my 2019 4runner. I didn't know what to expect, but it's been great so far and wife is digging it! I had a 911 Carrera I recently sold as well, (paid for tundra) and I'm enjoying the Tundra more than the 911. If I avg 430 a tank I will happy.

I typically see 415-425 miles per tank in my 2018. 30-31 gallon fills.

5.29’s with 34” LRE Coopers. Speedo is corrected.

Truck was just tuned with a HP Tuner a couple days ago, but I haven’t drive. Enough to see if it changes things much.

Well my dumbass remembered wrong. Went back through my pics and had some on the dash, and the 425-450 range should be easy for you @p1ayn as I was pulling the 450 pretty readily. I don't know why I thought I was so much lower?
