D900F5F9-5252-453F-BAFD-4ADE09F89FB7.jpg Thanks for the add! New member and new tundra owner. Just picked up a ‘19 Platinum and wanting to swap out the factory wheels and tires. I am really liking the look of the fuel shok but I’m wanting to go with a 17 in wheel. I haven’t seen anybody running that size wheel though so I’m wondering if clearing the brakes would be an issue. Anybody tried these wheels with success in a 17? May just go with 18 to be but wanted to check on here first. Picture is from the fuel website, not my truck. Thank you!

Welcome to the club !!!

17s will fit and should clear the brake calipers (depends on the offset).

There are few members here that are running 17s with no issue ... @mgm16trdpro is one of them.

That wheel was one of my top choices and I would have gone with it but I got another wheel that I liked for a lot less money. I was going to go with 18" but I also considered 17" and think I saw someone using it on a Tundra, but I am not sure. There is a 17" thread for Tundras on here and elsewhere that I think I saw a truck with them. You could do a search and find it. I went to a Toyota dealer this week and saw a few new Tundras and Tacos that the dealer had put that wheel on them (but not 17" on the Tundra) and they looked good.

Thanks @RDRunner , I did see that thread for the fuel beast, just hadn’t seen many pictures with the shok wheels. I assume they’re a fairly new wheel to the market so that’s probably the main reason.
