Nah, you're good. I asked this question a few months ago.

That was when I had about 60k miles.

Modern gas already has all the additives it needs. Just make sure you use top-tier as opposed to "Cousin Clem's Fast Gas".

I'm putting Stabil in my tank cause I put so few miles on the truck the gasoline will go bad before I empty the tank.
    Only 7500 m for now.

X2, Seafoam is a great product. Goes in every fill up on my mower. Also when I winterize it. My mechanic said to stay away from Stabil. It tends to gunk up.

Ok but sea foam in the tundra?? I heard it throws the readings for gas richness off the charts and makes the cel come on. I'll just use 93 every so many fill ups

scotty kilmer on youtube says to avoid seafoam, says it doesn't have the necessary cleaners to dissolve the build up.

I don’t use them a lot but when I do I make sure they have the polyether-amine. P.E.A. Seems to be the only stuff that actually works.

Exactly right. One of the members here works at as chemical engineer (gasoline formulation). He said "Try BG 44K as an additive, I have heard it is one of the best, if not the best."

The best fuel additive is your foot. Put the pedal to the metal at least once a week.

I switch between Lucas Oil deep fuel system cleaner and their upper cylinder treatment and have used it in every truck I have ever owned. A very close friend of mine has worked at Lucas Oil Corporate headquarters in Corona, Ca for years and swears by the products. Not sure if the stuff makes a difference, but his enthusiasm for their products and his company got me hooked.

Chevron Techron or Red Line are also good. Both are PEA as far as I know.

Techron is Chevron's trade name for PEA.

    from chevron website:
Techron Concentrate Plus is a premium performance gasoline fuel system cleaner. Formulated with Chevron's advanced polyether amine (PEA) technology, it offers complete fuel system treatment in gasoline passenger cars, vans and light trucks.

Red Line SI-1 is also PEA maybe more concentrated not sure but it's $10 per bottle.

Costco sells box of Chevron Techron. It has 10 or 12 bottles for I think $22 when it's on sale.

Yeah startron user here too. I use it on all my vehicles, atvs, small engines. Great at everything is advertises itself for and is Far more cost effective than stabil. Get it on Amazon by the quart which costs 28 and covers 512 gallons.

Check your spark plugs and you'll see what I mean after a couple months use.

It’s a myth: Your car doesn’t have a favorite gas station

    Click and Clack Ray Magliozzi
    Dear Car Talk:
Back in the ’70s, we were often told it was best for a car’s engine to always use the same brand of gas. Some sources even said to always use the same gas station or even the same pump.
Have engines evolved now to the point where this doesn’t matter anymore? It would be nice to no longer have to maintain a mental list of acceptable gas stations in my area, or to stress over finding one before my tank runs dry on a road trip.
Is this still true? Was it ever true?

    — John

Not and never, John. It is not still true. And it was never true. Your car’s engine was designed to run on any brand of EPA approved gasoline, and the idea that it “got used to” a certain brand or a certain station or pump is an old father’s tale. So we’re here to set you free. More or less.
Here’s the more or less part: Modern fuel injected cars run best (over a long period of time) on what are called Top Tier gasolines. Those are gasolines that have a higher level of detergent additives than the EPA requires.
The whole Top Tier thing was started by a group of manufacturers that felt that gasolines weren’t doing enough to keep their advanced engines clean. So they pestered a bunch of major oil companies into raising their standards. And that’s how Top Tier Gas got started.
Top Tier gas has extra additives, especially detergents, that reduce deposits in the fuel system and help keep expensive parts like fuel injectors clean. And today, the vast majority of major brand gasolines sell only Top Tier gas. Those include well-known brands like 76, Arco, Amoco, BP, Citgo, Chevron, Exxon, Mobil, Philips 66, Shell, Sunoco, Texaco, Valero and others you’ve heard of. Plus some you may not see advertised, like Kirkland Signature Gas from Costco.
And that’s all you need to consider when buying gas. It doesn’t matter which of the Top Tier gasolines you buy or if you mix them. It doesn’t matter what grade you use (use the grade recommended in your owner’s manual). It doesn’t matter which pump or which particular station you buy from.
We recommend you buy from the station with the lowest prices and the cleanest restroom, and use the pump that no car is currently parked in front of. And as long as it’s one of the Top Tier gasolines, your car will be happy.

I am especially in agreement with the first sentence above (lowest prices), but if you are a cheep-azz like me, that Murphy gasoline I buy might not be Top Tier gasoline. The "Clackers" are getting old. I'm not going to pay 20-30 cents more for Chevron gasoline in order to get Techron I can buy cheep at Walmart.
