FS PA Harrop Supercharged 2017 DC

Reluctantly listing my very clean and well cared for Harrop Supercharged 2017 Tundra Double cab SR5 w/ SR5 upgrade package. TRD offroad. Currently at 76,760 miles - will go up very slowly. I have 2 keys and fobs. I also have 2 keys for the cap. Garage kept 2nd owner since 2021 @ 40k miles , first owner was an auto mechanic. Clean title in hand, no accident history. All work done under my ownership has been done by an experienced Toyota mechanic. The seats have always been covered. Truck has been meticulously maintained. Oil changed every 4-5k with pennzoil ultra platinum oil and OEM filters. All fluids and maintenance are up to date. Truck was undercoated every other year with woolwax, it is not daily driven. Frame and body is rust free, and paint was always kept clay barred and sealed with various products over the years. Needs nothing and runs very well. Very much invested in upgrades. Looking to get a larger truck due to a growing family and changing priorities.

Cap is an ARE CX that is fully loaded with Yakima roof rack, windoors, carpeting, lighting, and fold down front window with slider. 2 keys included.

Supercharger was professionally installed in 10/2021 at 48k miles.

WAT extreme trans valve body professionally installed and fluid/filter changed at 72k. Trans fluid had also been done a couple years prior.

Coolant and rear differential serviced multiple times over ownership. Front diff and transfer case were also serviced. Radiator cap, hoses, and thermostat recently replaced w/ OEM. 5k miles on front brake pads.

Location is near Allentown, PA. Asking price $37,900 without the ARE cap as part of the deal and $38,900 with the cap.

Me neither! If it does not bring asking price though my arm will be twisted into keeping it and buying a used crew cab HD to get me by for now.

 

I know this isn’t a discussion thread but are you needing a bigger camper or something?

Put this back to stock, and keep the blower etc to bolt on to a crewmax.

 

Oh man, I’ve gone round and round with all of these ideas. My hangup with this one is a few things.

1) we will eventually have 3 kids and a medium sized dog for camping trips. Need a front bench for the dog to sit. I’d prefer not to get a lower trim with the bench seat and small gas tank - that trim is also hard to find in a CM.

2) I would prefer a 6.5’ bed for my “truck stuff”.

3) Even with my current camper the payload is a problem. A larger truck would open the door to a toyhauler, 5th wheel, and a toy to put in it. I have a wife and kids trusting my judgment with keeping their safety in mind pulling our camper (our thing we love to do together the very most). I’d rather not be exceeding any limits if I can help it. I could not live with the unthinkable happening. I’ve known for a while that I need a crew cab HD, but damn is this a good truck which is why I’ve not made a move. Telling myself “it’s just a truck.”

 

I’m in the same spot if we start pulling a camper. We are a family of 5 plus a 65-lb dog. She used to just ride on the floor of the backseat with no problems, but our kids are getting bigger so I moved her to a travel kennel strapped down in the bed.
Crewmax works for us, but I would need a <25ft camper, something like the Apex Nano 208BHS, and even then I’d be right at the limit.

The thing that’s saving me from getting a new truck is that we’re backpackers primarily.

 

We have a 17’ sequoia as well that we have considered using for towing but it would require a much smaller camper and there is no work around for the small gas tank on those. Towing a camper with a small tank is a no go for me. The shorter wheelbase would likely not tow well either.

@Silver17 - sad to see it go, but I get it. That is one of the most fair prices for any 2.5 gen Tundra I have seen recently, let alone one as well documented and maintained as yours. That's a great price for what it is. GLWS

You could always buy it and remove the 20k in upgrades for your truck and then sell it. I don’t feel like going through the hassle despite the greater potential of getting my money back. 2017 is the best year though.
