FS: MIM SAFE VARIOCAGE DOUBLE MAX SUV K9 TRANSPORT KENNEL




This is a fully contained, adjustable and lockable unit. It comes w/a divider to convert the interior from (1) into (2) separate kennels. The kennel is designed to sit behind the rear seats (with them in the upright position) to maximize protection to the vehicle's occupants and the dog(s). The kennel features an emergency escape system that allows you to access your dog(s) from the back seat in the event of a rear end collision that mitigates or damages the rear lift gate of your vehicle. The kennel design allows for maximum airflow and driver visibility. Installation is fairly quick and it can be removed and stored without too much effort.

It was purchased and installed on our 2019 4Runner Limited (non-3rd row model). Unknown if this would fit in the 3rd row models due to the elevated floor board position for the extra row (I believe the 3rd row reduces interior clearance by about 3 inches).

We sold the 4 Runner, and unfortunately this unit does not fit in the wife's new Forrester. So, it needs a new home!

I believe this would work in a Sequoia and possibly other, large, SUVs. But verify fitment w/4x4 North America first. As an example it does not work w/Highlanders.

Please note the difference between Interior and Exterior dimensions, as the emergency escape bolts on top of the unit make fitment difficult for some vehicles.
