Hasn't rained here in four days. Nothing special about the last few rainy days (no flooding, heavy wind, etc, just regular rain).

Now, four days later, every time I roll the front windows down and then up, they come up wet. Only the front windows, the rear windows are fine.

Should this be an issue to be concerned about? Why are my front doors retaining moisture? Are they gonna rust from inside out or damage components in the door? Anyone else notice this issue? Anyone annoyed by how many questions I can stack in to one paragraph?

I've noticed this as well, though I haven't paid attention to that long of a time interval. I love clean windows, so it is an irritation. Easily solved by the microfiber I keep in the door though.

I'm not as worried about clean windows as I am about moisture damaging the doors, speakers, other electronics. Weird that it is only the front windows though...

There’s a a vapor barrier inside the door, a plastic sheet that seals the inside of the door from the outside. The glass is on the outside of the vapor barrier. Water can easily enter the door and there are drains at the bottom edge of the door. Sometimes these can get clogged with junk like dirt, leaves, pine needles, etc. It would be prudent to check these. Other factors could be there is ice inside the door that is slowly melting or your storage location doesn’t let any trapped moisture evaporate.

oh i thought this was normal since the door/window seals have major gaps that dont seal 100% around the windows......

im still in disbelief toyota put their name behind this truck

I have the exact same issue with my platinum. I’ll wash it, and then get streaky wet windows literally DAYS after. Never had this problem in any other vehicle. Not the end of the world but it is annoying.

I've only seen it on the outside of the glass so far. I haven't driven through rain but did go through a car wash. I might leave the windows down for a bit to let the door cavity air out and hopefully dry.

All five of my windows do this same thing—— streaky wet on the outside if put up and down even after the rest of the truck is long since dry. Tested it this evening. It rained here this morning. Truck than sat outside all day in dry windy conditions. Drove it home from work; 20 minute drive in the dry. Truck was long since dry on the outside. Put the windows up then down after I got home. All five them were streaky wet when they came back up. Concerning? Does feel like retaining wetness inside the door hours, even days after a rain event could not be good.
