Does anyone have great insight on the correct orientation of the front parking sensors? I.E. Should they be straight up & down or tilted slightly up?

I've pretty much kept them off since I installed my front bumper, but I'd like to start adjusting them so I can make use of them once again. I've tweaked them a few times, but haven't had any real luck solving the issue. I've tried tilting them slightly upward, per CBI's suggestion in their install video, but I don't feel like that's the ticket. I get a fair amount of ghost readings.

It's the 2 inner sensors. I don't really get any ghost readings on the outer ones, so I assume their pretty good.

Just curious if anyone has any insight that might save me an afternoon of adjusting, driving around, more adjusting, more driving around, etc. haha

I am having this problem as well. I am sure sure what to do with the file you posted. I don’t have that fancy angle finder

You can a digital angle finder dirt cheap off of Amazon. I think I got mine for around $15. I used a dowel rod that I cut down to about 1" in length to act as a standoff for the angle finder.

Easy peasy. No need to spend a ton of $$ for fancy Toyota tools.
