Im sure some will scoff at the idea... but for a little over $100, it will be super handy for me. I have 3 boats and a landscape trailer to move around my yard/garage/driveway and its a helluva lot easier to do it from the front of the truck.
I can also poke a winch in here if needed.
It really fits nice and doesnt hang too horribly low.
I opted to remove my skidplate alltogether instead of cutting a filter access hole. I may fab up a different mounting arrangement when I have more time to mess with it.
The hitch bolts up right between the frame and tow hooks. Came with longer bolts too.

Looks great. If the kids misbehave, strap them into one of these for an e-ticket ride.

I had one on my 2010. Liked it a lot. Sold it because I wasn’t sure I’d use it with my current tundra. Pissed I did. The added functionality was great.

    looks good OP.

Those front hitches have always intrigued me. Do you think it would work with the TRD or RCI skid plate?

There is another thread on front hitches. I believe someone there said that it will as I have asked the same question for my RCI.

Im not familiar with how they are constructed... but as long as there is a door/window for oil filter access it shouldnt be an issue.
The reason for stock skid removal is because it needs to be dropped to change the filter... but the hitch blocks the two forward bolts.

Yes, the RCI does have a filter access.

I've had a Curt on mine since I bought it. Cooler holder mounts therost of the time, but it's useful for trailers also. The Curt sits up a little higher and attaches at the tow hooks. You keep the tow hooks too.

I've been looking at the Curt. I'm wondering how it would look with my RCI and front bumper.

Not sure how it could sit higher than the DrawTite. The receiver tube is actually resting up against the plastic splash.

I had to cut the plastic. It's not the lowest clearance point. By about 1/2 inch I believe.

I bought one for my 2021. Have been holding off as I want to do something with the skid plate so that everything does not have to come off to change the oil! Looks great

Best part is my front camera picks it up perfectly.
Had to add a hitch extension to get it away from the bumper though.

Yep... I dont have tons of room here and need more land. Only .62 acre and I need like 2-5 acres with a 40x60 pole barn.
The 3 boats and 16ft landscape trailer are making it crowded here and tight maneuvering if I need to get at one of them or put one in the garage which is perpendicular to my driveway.
The Chaparral is 24ft and too big to do anything with but the other stuff gets moved around alot.
This front hitch is worth its weight in gold for sure !

Custom bug spat pattern hood, grill & bumper. Dead Live Oak leaf collection under hood, cowl and lower fenders. Beach sand custom floor covering.
This seems like it would come in handy when I position the TT in the driveway buy can't visualize how I would do it. I may get one and sculpt an oversized boxing glove out of concrete or weld up a battering ram to shove in there. Back into me, you non driver!
