    Hi all,

I just received my fox coilovers in the mail and I noticed the thread cap is all the way up against the top mount (0 threads showing)

For those of you who have Fox coilovers, how many threads do you have exposed and how much lift did it provide?

    Thanks!

Off topic, but how long did you wait? I'm currently 5 months and still haven't received any updates.

    Where did you buy from?

I didn’t wait at all. Called around to several vendors and found one who had some in stock

I ordered them through an off-road outfitter here in Houston. Told me the lead time was 3-4 weeks but should expect more like 8-10, no biggie. Now 5 months and a bunch of run around from BDS, they can't pull the order that the shop placed in their system. The rep is supposed to be calling me back here shortly. I told BDS if its a shipping issue I would be willing to fly out and pick them up myself. This will probably be the last time I order BDS products.

If you have part numbers I can poke around to see what I have in stock, but no promises. If you were to place an order today I would probably tell you about 20 weeks though. If you ordered a BDS I am assuming that you're lifting it a ways though which helps with potential availability as they don't sell near as frequently.

If you're getting the runaround from your place and I can't help you either I might suggest looking to Accutune or even 4WP as much as I'm cutting off my own arm by turning you away!

I'm looking at the 2.5 coilovers 4.5" I believe the part number is 88306124. The shop spec'd everything for me since I got into a situation where I bought the truck with spacers and wanted to upgrade, but keep the height. They said those will work. Everyone I've called in the city of Houston says they're on about a 6 month wait.

Which coilovers did you receive? I have Fox 2.5's (0-3) with DSC and they came with about half an inch of thread showing. Gave me a little over 3 inches of lift after they settled. I don't have an aftermarket front bumper yet so this is without any heavy weight on the front.

good to know! I got the 2.5 (0/3” ext) as well.

I guess I’ll install as is and adjust from there! Hoping for 2-2.5”

I reached out to Fox about this on my 880-06-947 (2.5 with DSC) set. They stated, even with the collar fully backed off, you will get almost 3" on a stock Tundra.

No problem. I just relayed what they told me. My set isn't installed yet due to other issues so I'm not speaking from experience.

Backed all the way off you should be getting approx 2.5" of lift.
