Fox 2.5 Shocks In Stock

Just got an alert via email that these Fox 2.5 shocks (front + rear) are in stock.

And here I am still waiting for my front coilovers. Been 5 months, still no word from BDS.

 

Im about to pull the trigger on these because theyre in stock, SDHQ says they have orders over 12 months on King that still havent been filled. Anyone have any pro's or cons on these? I wanted linear rate and was going to go with Radflo because of the stocking issue, but its a 10-12 week lead time. But if these are ready to go then......Price is about what I've been seeing everywhere else (accutune, Camburg etc..).

Extended brake lines needed for these trucks? Trying to rush now and get together all the extra pieces, didn't think I'd have to opportunity to jump on something in stock. How about the diff and carrier bearing drop brackets?

 

I'm not thrilled about the price, but I picked up a truck with +200k on it and the suspension needed a refresh. I did not want to put it out 3+ months, plus given all of the current supply chain issues, paying the premium for a bird in the hand is worth it. Not to mention car parts are still increasing from an inflation standpoint due to the shortages, it may get worse.

 

I have a set that I'd consider parting with. I initially had a non-Pro Tundra, got these parts, sold the truck without installing the parts, now have a TRD Pro. I'm debating on whether to run the Fox 2.5 and ditch the factory Fox stuff.

Purchased from Camburg. BNIB, box opened only to check the goods for damage then went to a corner in my garage

 

Ditch the factory and run it because I already bought from Bilstein lifts

If they come back with issues I will reach out to you and take you up on it if its still available.

 

That is the new retail price for those shocks. King just did a price update on Monday also.

 

OH, and we have Fox 2.5 Rear DSC shocks in stock, will ship very quickly. (custom tuned of course). Matching front coilovers are expected to arrive next month No 11 month wait from us!

 

@AccuTune Offroad is it possible, and without consequence, to convert the Fox 2.5 Rear (883-26-006) to piggy back? Using fittings and a tube brackets?

 

Might have to place an order through you and get my money back from the shop I ordered from. I'm at 6 months for 2.5 fronts without DSC....

 

Not quite as simple as that. Piggyback uses an entirely different reservoir with DSC.

As much as we would appreciate the sale, you may want to try and check in with your current order to see if they have any lead times for you. We have plenty on order, that date back to 3/2/21. Funny enough the rep from my shop contacted me with an update and said that they still can't get an ETA on my parts from BDS. You getting them next month might even get me back on the road. If I ordered them around Memorial Day I feel like I should have them on my truck already no? It's very bizarre how they're shipping parts out at the moment. Seems like some guys are placing an order and getting them in a week while people like me are waiting 5+ months.

 

It all depends on when the shocks were actually ordered by the retailer, not when the customer places the order. Then we all use our own approx lead times to take an educated guess on when they will arrive. If the shocks are not in stock, and not on order already, it's going to be a 6+ month wait time.

 

I ordered my through AJUSA.com at beginning of August. I got the rears mid September and the fronts 1st week of Oct.

 

I'm assuming yours are the 0-3". I wonder how yours came so quick.

It looks like AJUSA.com went through Turn 14 Distribution out of Horsham, PA. I know I ordered through AJUSA.com but the packing list show Turn 14. Turn 14 is a big company so that helps, lol.

 

Another vote for @AccuTune Offroad from me, if you can be patient, you will not be disappointed with the final result.
