Found out via Facebook DAP is selling one of his rigs. Supercharged Crewmax tuned by him, and LOTS of aftermarket parts for a screaming deal of $20k. Perfect for a Tundra lover. I’m in no way affiliated with DAP, just wanted to spread the word on a great truck for sale. Wish I could jump on it. His facebook link is below

I am interested! Totaled my lifted 2012 Tundra Sunday and haven't heard from the adjuster yet. Hope you can afford to wait, but I see your deal waiting.

Find DAP Tuning on Facebook and message him ASAP. This is his truck, I just saw it and posted it up cause I thought it was a great deal on a pro-tuned truck.

It's amazing to me that a truck with 230,000 miles can still fetch $20k(and apparently this is a good price?). My how times have changed. I cannot imagine what a new truck will cost in 20 years.

I agree @FirstGenVol . Price seems high with that many miles especially with it being SC. Beautiful truck though!

It's not just tundras either, the whole used truck market is insane. I was looking to pick up a used 2500hd for my business and what I find for what people are asking is just insane. I think it's a by product of just how expensive new trucks are now.

TRUE! I picked up a perfect used 2006 Crew Cab 4X LB Duramax in October '06 and drove it for 12 years. Sold it in '18 for $5k less than I bought it for! The truck market is unbelievably strong right now. Wait for gasoline to spike again and it will probably settle down.

I dont think i could get that even if i had the money. CA ARB would look at it and say, nope, not today you peon. They get real picky with exhaust modifications

I thought that at first...but if you really look at it, there’s over $20k worth of aftermarket parts on it. And a 2011....most of that is highway miles obviously. I would think this is the rig he drove all over the country hosting tune events.

None yet but just got 20" rims from a limited and am planning on getting more agresive tires and a lift kit after Christmas. Installing running boards now so i guess its starting .
Even if there is over 20 grand in after market parts and of the miles are highway or street that is one used up donkey and I highly doubt a dealer willing to dish that mutch money for what basically is an overdriven modified almost 10 year old truck. But before every 1 and their grand ma gets their feelings hurt(panties in bunch) it's my opinion and mine only. So if there is any one that thinks 465 horses are worth half the price of a new tundra then all power to ya.

I agree. That many miles for 20 grand. I wouldn’t even consider it. Yea, I know the mods etc but whatever, 230,000 miles.

Although his price is not unreasonable when you look at used 2011 Tundras.
Damn, these things hold their value well.
I’ll pat myself on the back for being so smart and buying one.

Also what the hell is this highway miles bullcrap the dam abuse is the same a mile is a mile on dirt cement pavement or asphalt it don't make a difference the abuse is the same . The only real difference is air miles how many you rack up if you off road or of you are just plain nuts like yours truly that took my first gen tundra for a flight on a dirt road leading to an orchard. The only problem was on the other side of the jump it was just an irrigation ditch. Needles to say what I thought was a :bikewhoops:2 foot hill was a 10 foot deep hole that thank God was dry other wise my sweet lord would be missing the idiot sheep of the herd(me):anonymous:

Totally agree. It’s a cool truck but dealers could care less about extras. They look at condition, year, and miles. That’s it. They don’t even want to give you a dime extra if you have all maint records and if you added things like leather, aftermarket wheels, etc....

Besides, there is 0 chance they could get anyone financed on that truck.

I politely disagree. The kind of miles make all the difference.

I tend to agree with this. However, having the owner burning circles before he unloads it makes me think it’s happened more than once.

Starting an engine after the oil has settled in the oil pan is what is hard on the motor. So a mile is not a mile. 100 city miles driving to work at 10 miles each way is 10 starts. 100 highway miles possibly is only one start. The 100 highway miles is not as hard on wear as the city miles are. Obviously many things contribute to wear, but this is just an example.
