First time post here... been lurking for awhile looking for inspiration for updating my 2012 Sequoia.

I haven't seen much posted here in terms of the Form Lighting LED lights. They look awfully similar to the Toyota 2018 OEM headlights at about half the price (including the wiring harness and trim panels).

Anyone have experience with these? I've seen reasonably positive reviews for the Form Lighting brand for other headlight assemblies for other vehicles, just not so much for the 2nd Gen Sequoia.

@memario1214 may be able to provide some input. I believe he deals with Form.

I do, though they’re the Tundra version instead of Sequoia. They’re very nice, especially for the price point. The fit and finish worked out very well, and having the adapters and harnesses included is great for anyone jumping from halogens. My one gripe is that the cutoff and brightness aren’t quite as good as OEM, but definitely nothing to write them off over.

I've had my hands on a couple of sets for some time with the hope of actually doing shakeout testing on them, but unfortunately still haven't gotten around to it... That said, we have sold quite a few sets of them, and haven't had a single person say anything cross about them. We've even had a couple of folks go to these from OEM LED who wanted the sequential turn signal, and they didn't notice/verbalize anything in the way of decreased light output. If you're on the fence between the two I will say that they are a very close comparison to OEM LED.

If you do decide to pick them up we have them here at Hotshot Offroad and have them on sale as well

Don't have a website listing for the 07-13 Tundra (or your Sequoia), but we certainly can get them if you decide to go that route.

Well there we go! Here's some testimony from a confirmed owner of a set of these.

Awesome! Thanks for the inputs! I may in fact give these a go... still on the fence, but the price point is definitely a plus! My Sequoia used to be my daily driver, but switched to an EV with full LED lights just before the pandemic. Whenever I drive the Sequoia at night, I often have to check to ensure that the lights are on... those factory halogens are crap! I am guessing that either the Forms or the OEMs will be MUCH brighter than stock.

Yeah if you're moving from factory halogens, especially with older bulbs, the Forms will be a major upgrade. I think you'll be happy with them.

Here’s another quote from your website, and a question:

Are you saying these Forms are a “big improvement in output” from even the OEM LEDs that came out in 2018?

Nope! That was copy/paste nomenclature from Form when we were building our listings. We haven't gotten around to our formal in-house testing between these and OEM LEDs so we can't confirm anything. We've seen plenty of them, and have been in vehicles with them, but haven't played Mythbusters with them yet. As of right now I would say that they are slightly less output than OEM LED, and have the cool sequential turn signal.

I've modified our website's listing to remove that "potential" inaccuracy. When we get to testing we'll see if it gets to come back.

I took that statement as meaning:
Like Colton already pointed out, it isn't very clearly worded from the manufacturer. I've run both OEM LED and currently the Form LED lights, and would say the output of the Forms is close, but not quite as good, compared to OEM. They're still plenty bright and would be a huge upgrade from halogen.
