Quick question, does the Tundras have a foot light at the passenger side or is it just the driver's side?

Thanks! My wife dropped her earrings tonight and she asked me to turn on the foot light on the passenger side, I said I don't think it has one. She disagree she said well if the driver's side has one the passenger side should have one too. She thinks the light bulb is probably burnt out.

Looks like mine too! Courtesy of VLEDS inside LED footwell kit! Totally agree it should have come this way, but easy fix...

Yes, this is an updated version of the kit I bought for both front and rear. Just plug it in and route the LED strips under the dash, glove compartment and each rear seat.

For mine, I ordered the kits for the front and rear from VLEDS. It includes an adapter that replaces the bulb in the driver side footwell, and then I plugged in the LED string for the driver side and attached it under the dashboard with the included double-sided tape. Then, I plugged the LED string for the passenger side on the end of the driver side string and ran it behind the console and attached it under the glove box. Next, using the provided long extension wire which is plugged into the passenger side LED string, I ran the extension through the kick plate on the passenger side under the door sill to the passenger front seat. Next, I mounted another LED string under the passenger front seat, attaching it to the seat frame. The kit has a short extension that I used to connect the final LED string under the driver seat to the passenger seat LED string and mounted the final LED string under the driver seat.

Basically, the kit has everything I needed to "daisy chain" the LED strings once the driver footwell bulb was replaced by the adapter.

I installed mine yesterday... Be careful with those clamp on connectors used to wire in the extension. Those connectors are plastic crap.. One came apart on me.. The other failed to get a good connection. While installing the lights, one kept flickering out.. I discovered it was one of those connectors. I didn't want to worry about that connection going out eventually (which I am sure it would), so I cut them off and soldered the connections. I almost just ripped the kit out and went back to the single footwell light..

I also used heat shrink to help keep the connection together.

From the driver side, I used some 3M cable clips to run the cables to keep it from hanging and getting snagged. Stick the lights on your desired location in the footwell. To get to the passenger side, I passed the cable behind the dash...straight across . Any excess cable is zip tied to get your desired placement.

Basically, cleanly hide the cable as much as you can. Remove side panels if you need to.

From the Front Passenger to the rear, remove the side panel. I attached the light under the front passenger seat. Now, to get to the driver side, slide the cable from the passenger under the center console. Again, use a zip tie for any excess cable.
