So im wanting to upgrade my fogs on my tundra. I was leaning towards the BD but after reading that they are super bright and not recomended for street use now im stuck. I live in the city so i always have my fogs on but just for the extra light. I dont want to blind every1 especially cuz im on a lift. What other lights do u recomend?

I got rigid fog light brackets with eBay leds in them. 3" lift on 35s, never flashed. Had same set up in my jeep on 37s

I just installed BD's today. You don't want them for city. I just took out a set of MORIMOTO XBs but have them going to another forum member. I think you should have a look around for some of those. They would suit you well for city driving

Yup I don’t run mine with traffic. The people that use them on the streets don’t live in the city...

    I do.

I work nights(right now) and drive a lot on city streets, Beverly Hills, Hollywood, Inglewood, and they are fine. I've had one guy in a low sitting car ahead of me and try to flash me from behind in the 5 months I've had them. Yes they're bright, but not much brighter than all the other cars out there with factory LED headlights. And my truck is stock suspension wise.

A little of this and a little of that.
I went with VLEDs replacement LEDs and they are hella bright. I’m very happy with them.

I'm gonna have a set of morimoto led fog lights up for sale soon since I am going with the Baja Designs kit. This would just motivate me to order it sooner. Shoot me a pm if you're interested.

Well you're in Riverside, so your 5" lift is pretty low for there. . You'll be fine.

Just making sure you knew =) sometimes the guys likes to play tricks on people as you know already...

To stir the pot, RIGID has some SAE LED fog lamps too... those have a nice cutoff so you can run those on the streets. I think they are brighter than the other. Look into them.

I've got a spare set of fogs, was thinking of trying to retrofit some small projectors in the fogs (matchboxes?)
