I'm looking for some new fog light options for '16. I currently have the Morimoto XB LED fog lights, and they've been great so far, but I've noticed one of them starting to flicker. Could be that the wire harness is loose, or the housing is loose because it seems to bounce on rougher roads.

But figured while I was doing all that, I might see what else is out there. So what are you using? Anything with easy plug and play? Links and photos are always appreciated. Thanks..!

Me and plenty of others here sure do like our Baja Design Squadron Sport fog lights (wide cornering; amber) in conjunction with Eddies Fog light mod which allows you to run your fogs independent of your headlights...

I was looking at these ones too in Amber. I have a 2019 Sport with stock LED fogs - can anyone tell me if this will be a significant improvement over the stock LED's when driving in snow and fog?

    Are non-SAE's only legal off-road?

It's really DOT that determines on road legality. Department of Transportation will approve the use of lights on public highways. DO NOT use non SAE/DOT lights on the road. You don't have inspections in CA, but in an inspection state, without covers, non SAE/DOT lights are an instant fail.

Non SAE/DOT lights will probably have a beam pattern that prioritizes your visibility over any others on the road. This is great for off road use, not so much when there's other drivers around.

That’s what it says but I live in Cali and have been running them for almost 2 years and probably have been flashed a hand full of times. Things are super bright. I do plan on swapping those out for the SAE approved ones soon(Black Friday)

Thanks for the info. I guess since I would mostly use mine on-road I should look into the SAE's.

Baja designs missed the mark on their sae fog lights. Rigid is the way to go on sae fog lights in my humble opinion. Which is worth about zero.
