Posted this on Reddit and thought I would share it here too. Been calling around looking to see who's getting what, mark ups, etc. Thought I would share what I have found so far...Looks like SET pricing was updated today as I have been getting some call backs asking about deposits and such.

Toyota of Orlando/Clermont- Won't talk about them until SET sets prices, not even what their allocation is. Sales person was a bit of a jerk over it.

Central FL Toyota- Getting 2 4*4 1794 Crewmax, an SR5 Double Cab long bed. There was another SR5 but didn't get the details on that one. None of them are reserved, won't reserve until SET prices are set for them.

Seminole Toyota- Their Dec allotment of two cars are reserved by folks who offered 10k over MSRP. Was told future cars likely to get the mark up based on those two buyers. May change by the time the January shipments come.

AutoNation Winter Park- SR5 and 1794's, mentioned one SR5 will be green. No MSRP mark up is planned at this time.

Phillips Toyota- two 1794 Cremax 4*4 and an SR5, no details. They will have a mark up on all of them.

Erdman Toyota- Absolutely clueless on the Tundra, price, allotment, etc. Salesman said they won't know anything until training next month.

Parks Toyota of Deland- No answer, should have similar answer as Daytona Toyota as they are linked.

Daytona Toyota- Typical allotment, no plans to list above MSRP, but dealer adds on a lifetime oil and extended warranty on all cars at 2-3k depending on car. **11/9 called me saying a Platinum is going there as well, doing deposits of $1000 non refundable**

Toyota of Melbourne- 1794 and SR5 allotment like all of the others, they are marking up every new car on the lot and it will include the Tundras when they come.

Beaver Toyota St Augustine- Same 1794 and SR5 allotment but no details. Salesman notes a 10k mark up on at least the first 30 or so.

Miracle Toyota- 2 SR5, a SR and **Platinum 4*4. The Platinum is going to be a 5.5ft bed, crewmax, platinum package, spray in bed liner, black running boards, and clear coat. Based on MSRP, the add ons, and delivery this one is looking at about 64k. Dealership hasn't figured out if they will mark stuff up yet.

Lakeland Toyota- Sales knows they are getting one, no idea which one or anything regarding pricing. Seem to be in the dark on it.

Gatorland Toyota- Only getting a 1794 in the first allotment. They are marking up everything new by $2500 regardless of model.

Coggin Toyota @ The Avenue- Salesman said no allotment, nothing yet, expecting January. Not sure how accurate that statement was.

Keith Person- Won't say anything other than making a list for orders and there will be a mark up.

Arlington Toyota- Salesman knows nothing, says they don't know their allotment yet, won't talk price w/ regards to mark ups or not.

Ernie Palmer- No idea on pricing with regards to mark ups, not being discussed until pricing comes out. On Dec 3rd they expect a 1794 in Blueprint.

It's very sad to me that people are willing to pay above MSRP. If everyone absolutely refused to do so, the dealers couldn't get away with it!

Agree but you just triggered everyone in here to talk about supply, demand, capitalism, etc until the thread is locked.

Arlington toyota in Jacksonville has at least 6 2022 Tundra build sheets taped to their front window, don't know if that corresponds to their allotment. Bad experiences there & wouldn't buy from them unless there weren't other options, YMMV. They had a Hyundai Sonata in the 2016-2018 range on their lot with a 6x12" section of paint peeled off of the roof (to the metal) with $14k on the windshield if that gives you any idea.

Seen dealers getting anywhere from 1 to 5 cars so its possible to have 6 coming. Sucks to see the bad wrap they have created for themselves. Hoping to see a lot more trucks soon though as Nov 18-22 the next dealer allocation list should go out.

"supply, demand, capitalism, etc " needs to be talked about -more so the reason(s) causing such issues and the solution to resolve such issues!!

Shortly after this I got a phone call from them. They knew what I wanted and tried selling me on an SR5 V8 as if it was a 2022 until I corrected them, then tried getting me into a new SR5 double cab after saying I wanted a limited crewmax. It only took being put on hold three times for the sales person to look up the info about the trucks she called to tell me about lol

So why even bother to "buy" into the madness??? Wait a year or two. Everyone of them will be fighting for 15% off msrp...Stamp it!!!

^^^ Love how that sales rep puts a ! after MSRP. I remember when people would brag about getting x amount of money off MSRP. Now people are celebrating over paying MSRP and no market uncharge. What's next, see who can pay MSRP and the highest Market uncharge? If one could have predicted that you could trick people into buying at MSRP, even though they don't need to, wow $$$$$$.

All I see based off comments here is that NO one can find a Tundra offered for MSRP, and if they could they would be all over it, well give this guy a call and see if he indeed is selling at MSRP maybe he Not, I have No idea, but until you can prove he not stop bitchin about having to paid over MSRP...

Plenty of dealers already saying they will sell at MSRP so I don't know where you have been. I could careless if he is or isn't selling at MSRP. But apparently you don't see the humor in my post, so keep on bitching on. LOL

The problem is that while they will sell at MSRP, they have a $2,950 package of paint protection, car washes, and tree air fresheners. Then charge a $900 dealer fee. These dealers absolutely will not bend an inch over these BS packages either.

Out of the nearly 1500 dealerships exactly how many can you report are doing what you claim?
I'm sure some are but sounds like "the problem is" lack of negotiation, sales skills for many claiming such!

The dealers are only selling at the prices people are willing to pay. Always been that way and always will be. If you want to pay msrp or higher...it's all a choice. Some pay invoice or don't pay. YMMV

Yup. Miami has some of the most sleaziest dealers and sales reps. All of them have a dealer fee of $800 and up last time I checked last year. I love the paint protection package. It’s a bottle of wax and a terry cloth in a bag shoved under the seat. Just like the Toyota Care oil changes and tire rotation that they make it seem are free. Nope, $699 for that. The base 22 tundra starts at $37,645. By the time they tach on everything plus TTT the OTD price will surpass 40k.

I'm in Orlando and would strongly recommend staying the hell away from any dealer in this area. I can give you feedback on specific ones, if interested. In short, they all have dealer fees ($600-1,000ish) and add-ons (overpriced tint, paint sealant, steps, etc.). I went through all of this when trying to buy a 21 Pro including 3x with Autonation Winter Park that's like 10mins from my house.

Earl Stewart Toyota in North Palm is where I ordered and bought my Pro. They are a gem. No mark ups, no dealer fees, no add-ons, no bullshit.

Know almost all in the area. Toyota of Orlando/Clermont will gut your trade even in this market, horrible sales team. CFL Toyota is in BFE and as bad pricing. AutoNation has a bad sales team, sales managers are the ones we talk about as been slime balls. Seminole Toyota I will only go through the inventory manager since David Maus left. I walk in, name my price, they match Carmax, I cut a check. Its gotten so much easier that way.

I read somewhere that corporate Toyota has instructed dealers to not mark up over MSRP. Not sure if there are any consequences.

Not for $700..... I'd rather put that money toward nitrogen filled tires!

I would prefer not to buy any of the dealer crap. I have refused it when they tried to add it on. When I bought my last Tacoma I had them flip the tires to black out. I had already told them to remove the nitrogen charge. Not sure if they filled with nitrogen anyway and did not care. Those green valve stem caps they use are crap. By the time they are done the free rotations they had busted the tops off all of them.
