I’ve got a 2018 Tundra CrewMax and had bought a set of running boards/nerf bars off Amazon that claimed to fit, however once received the truck mount areas didn’t line up with board/bar predrilled area.

Did the mount spacing change on 2018? How can I make for sure my next purchase will fit, because it seems everyone states they will fit 2007-2018 models?

I got Nfabs, and they lined up perfectly. Sometimes, it pays to spend the extra money upfront.

They fit from 07-18 as long as the cab length is the same.

Double cab and Crewmax do not interchange.

Thanks MotoTundra, I was aware Double and Crew required different but there seem to be vendors stating it fits 07-18 CrewMax but it doesn’t. Outside of buying from Toyota dealer, wasn’t sure if there was a way or a vendor to make sure when I do get the order it will fit.

N-Fab here, they lined up exactly. As stated above, check that they didnt send you bars for the wrong cab length.

Half of the brackets face forward, other half faces backwards

From the tip of your bar, find shorter of the bolt hole. This will be your nerf front.

Place bar on two jack stands and start fitting the front or rear facing brackets.

This job took me 4 hours - should have Ben 30 minutes

I cussed eBay seller and had to apologize After
