20180922_134835.jpg Gentleman! As the title states, i had my first long drive in the Tundra! 300 miles round trip, loaded up with boxes and a dirtbike going up. Empty on the return. Averaged 17.3MPG! Trip was smooth as glass, the only guage moving was the fuel guage! lol! I'm stoked to be part of the family!

I didn't make it to Mars, my stop was in the greater Johnstown area. Just out of curiosity, do you do any trout or steelhead fishing in NY?

From a lady, I was wondering if you had your dirt bike in the bed? I have a quad and my initial intention was to get a diamondback cover and tie it down on that, but with the Tundra up that high not sure it’ll it would be too top-heavy. Your thoughts?

Yes, I did have my dirtbike in the bed. Aside from seeing it in the mirrors, I didn't know it was there. If it were me, I wouldn't put a quad on top of the bed cover. Whenever I was younger my dad would load quads directly into the bed of his Tacoma.

We would stand on the rear frame loop, and balance the quad vertically. Dad would back the truck up, and we would lower the front end of the quad into the bed. Dad on one side, me on the other we would lift up on the frame and push in. Never had any issues doing it that way.

    Hope this helps!

Yes, makes sense. I ask because diamondback covers on their site has one or two quads on the bed, loaded from the side or from the back. I just wasnt sure i would have so much weight on that high center of gravity.
Then i also have been eyeing this from Rizerback. Only one quad but for bikes i think more than kne is an option
