Just bought a 2018 Tundra 4x4 and want to add some mods. This is my first Yota ever so I have much to learn.

I have decided to install 5" zone suspension lift. Can anyone running this lift tell me what wheels and off set you are running?

With that big of a lift, I’d run something like a 20x9 +0 with 35’s. If you’re doing fender flares you’d want to go with a more aggressive offset. Imo the size above or even a -5 to -15 would look good before looking like a mexi-dozer

Why you going with such a big lift? I have a 3/1.5 and honestly would prefer it to be a little more squatted like my Raptor. Still looks pretty good though.

    See sig for specs

I would go BDS +4/5 instead. But imo 3/1 with coilovers is best paired with some 35's

Thanks for reply. I was looking to run only 4" lift just so I can throw some 35's on but some of lifts I was looking at only offered 6 and I did not want to go that high especially with radar sensors. I was looking at some rhino 20x9 wheels I think offset was 12. I want to make sure everything fits before I buy. All I've ever known was Chevy. But I fell in love with the crewmax and all that space!

Why not look at the 3/1 setups like mine and run 35’s with 18 or 20x9 +0 to +20 and call it golden. Better handling and mpg arguably, better resale imo, win win win

T storm Love your truck, that is exactly the look I am going for. Nothing to big but something I can get a bigger tire under and keep the handling etc.

a BDS is a better choice if you wanna go that way. remember once you cut the cross member there is no turning back.

I thought we weren't allowed to answer questions before OP put up pics of his new rig? :notsure:

Do what makes you happy, but along I with a lot of people here think that the 3/1 lift with 35s is perfect.

I’m gunna join the people saying go 3/1. I recomend the Toytec/Eibach kit as well. I’m comming from Kings on my last Tacoma and am very impressed with this suspension especially for the price.

3/1 works for me, I need details on those kits lol. I like the 18 x 9 wheel. I dont plan to run fenders so dont want much tire sticking out so will an offset of 0 through 12 keep me pretty tight? Do you recommend upgraded sway bars? I am looking at Nitto tires or Wrangler Dura Trac, are they pretty quiet? Sorry lots of questions. I been trying to do as much research as I can for the past week while waiting on truck to arrive.

Welcome! These are all Tundras on 5" lifts, you can see the types of wheels/tires/offset to your liking. Stock offset is +60, anything close to 0 and into negative may require cutting to avoid rub at full steering lock end to end. Also, the more into negative you go, the more they stick out and when it's past the body, the potential to shoot rocks across the sides is higher.

    https://www.customwheeloffset.com/w...ta&model=Tundra&suspension=Suspension Lift 5"

I have +18 offset with a 11.77" wide tire and I installed fender flares, patterns of mud/dirt spray on the side without.

There are many 3/1 kits. But the one we are referring to is the Toytec/Eibach. Go to Toytecs website and check it out. Mine was around $16xx with the TC upper control arms + around $600 for install iirc. If you want to spend more you can easily do that.

As far as wheels, I really like the Fuel Vectors. Went with the Vapors because they blend nicely with my color (MGM). But the all black will look awesome with your truck.

They make these is 18x9 +1 and +20. Either will work just depends if want want a bit more pole or not.

3-1 level kit with add a leaf. 295/70/18r cooper max. Spider head light tail light and third brake light, tint, badges off, ladder racks, trd pro grill, color matched hood bulge, grab handle, coach builder +2, dv8 front bumper with winch, fender flares, bed cover....
Dinner need 5” for 35s. If u really wanna spend money get toytec 3” cool overs with spc uca’s and boss 2.0 with resevoir and shackles in back. For 2k. That’s what I’m about to do to hange over from the stupid 3” spacer life I have currently. But 3” in front will fit 35s with correct offset.
