Good morning everyone, I recently got my first tundra and absolutely love it. (2017 crewmax sr5) I usually just sit back and read and never post but this forum has helped so much I figured I’d show off what I’ve done so far. I’ve deleted all the chrome by using 3m vinyl wrap, wasn’t easy, but was cheap and it looks awesome!(maybe $100) I’ve wrapped a lot of the inside and added hints of red but I’ll add pics of that once I’m done. I added the amber “laminex” covers on my fog lights ($16) I just had exhaust put on last week, didn’t want anything too loud, went with the flow master super 10 series..1 in 1 out..with a Y pipe before the muffler. ($300) Loved it, but the drone was horrible and I drive a lot for work. BUT once again, this forum came to the rescue, I cut the end of my exhaust off..right after the spare tire. And it got rid of ALL the drone, I was shocked. I went from thinking I was gonna have to get a whole new system, to being 100% satisfied with what I got. That alone made me want to post, there was a lot of people I saw that were kind of nervous to do it..if you have drone..DO IT CAUSE IT WORKS!! On today’s agenda, I plan to use an EZ out bit to get the threads of my antenna out of the base and finish wrapping the inside trim. Thanks to all y’all for helping me out with my tundra and also causing me to be more broke than ever, my wife and I both race motocross so a lot of money goes to that…now I got this tundra and a whole forum of guys giving me new ideas..might need to throw a mattress in the bed cause if I stay on this track I’ll be in the dog house forsure…so…thanks guys “whatta intro”

I painted the letters red and then went back and put black vinyl on top and cut the letters out. 2 days after I got the truck I wrecked my bike and shattered my collarbone..so I had 3 weeks off work with nothing but time to mess with the truck lol

Welcome from OKC! Yes, this happens to be a costly place to hang out. The gas station is gaining fast too.
