    I'm in north Texas.

I'm getting a can, and this was my first experience with Form 4. I will say before the warning that the people at Frisco Gun Club and RifleGear were great. Liam at RifleGear was out.standing. Big thanks.

There is an eFile fingerprinting service called PrintScan, LLC; also known as Sterling Identity. They will send you to a 3rd-party (I was sent to a UPS location) to get your prints scanned.

This process is a useless waste of money.

The people working at UPS aren't to blame - they're not trained and have no idea what they're doing. They don't/can't assist or help ensure your prints are viable. The equipment at these franchises is sub-par and will result in blurry prints (not the quality of the take, the quality of the render - not fixable). The folks at UPS may or may not be able to sign the form, which is a necessary step for them to be useable for eFile. Not their fault - they're handed a lump of coal and told to make a diamond ring...

Sterling/PrintScan is never going to give you your $45 back.

Second edit:: If you're in N.TX, I highly recommend you use RifleGear for ATF transfers.

Good info, but don't blame UPS, you must be talking about a UPS store.
UPS stores are nothing but franchised shipping store fronts that overcharge customers to pack and ship stuff.
It costs more to ship a pre-packed package (done by the customer) printing and paying for your own label at home from the UPS website and drop it off there.
Their employees don't work for UPS, they work for the franchisee.
But they are good for dropping off Amazon returns. :D

Come on, did you really expect anything done by the feds and the ATF to go smoothly? :p

Did they say you had to go to the UPS Store?
Did they give you a service code?
The gun club website gives instructions for getting prints for their LTC classes..

    Class-LTC — Frisco Gun Club

Hope you get your can soon..
