I am trying to figure out the GCWR for 2018 Tundra. My door tag gives me the GVWR no GCWR?

I have gone to the Toyota website and my account entered the VIN, no where on the site does it show the GCWR?

If I recall correctly, there's a table in the owner's manual.

Match up your model code (USK56L-CRTLGA) according to the chart below. If you have a 4WD, standard box, trailer towing package and large fuel tank it's 15,400 lbs.

Okay if I got this straight. The GCWR of truck according to the manual is 15,400 lbs. The GVWR of my truck is 7100 lbs. 15,400 - the 7100 = 8300 lbs which should be the max I can tow.

Towing weight is one thing, however you will probably run out of payload long before ever reaching max tow weight. If I saw your sticker correctly you have 1300 payload which includes passengers, cargo, accessories added and whatever the tongue weight is of the trailer. Add the tongue weight and the cargo and items you are carry.....should be under the 1300 lb.

Frichco is correct. Towing weight is seldom met before you max the payload on a Tundra. It's the one weakness of these trucks. Head over to the towing section of the forum and you'll have plenty of info to brush up on.
