IMG_0010.jpg IMG_0011.jpg Recently replaced my wheel setup with some older 4Runner wheels and 34x10.5x17 wheels. Already had a ~2inch level in the front with SPC uppers but this set up rubbed due to the fairly large positive offset on the wheels. Added 1 inch wheel spacers with some minor trimming and everything is clearing great now. Just wanted to post showing skinny 34s will fit with some minor trimming. I’m guessing spacers wouldn’t be needed with a more aggressive offset

Adding some positive caster would give you more room against the pinch weld. Tire looks pretty far back in your wheel well.

Is 34x10.5x17 the size on the tire? Tirerack only shows 2 in that size and neither of them are true 34s. They’re both 33.5 tall. I’m planning on going 255/80/17 here soon, I thought that size was limited but dang. 33.1 vs 33.5, that .4” isn’t worth the entry fee.

If you want a true 34(33.8-34.1) and an 11-11.2 isn’t too wide, I’d recommend looking at 285/75r17’s.

I don’t want it that tall, just curious what the real size is the op is referring to.

34x10.5r17, not sure what brand/model he's got there, but here's an example in the BFG KO3: https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=BFGoodrich&tireModel=All-Terrain+T/A+KO2&partnum=405R7KO2RWL&GCID=C13674x012-tire

It just looks weird because he left out the "r", or maybe because the first two digits are the diameter in inches versus the width in millimeters

Well now I've got more decisions to make. I was looking at 255/85r17s not realizing 34x10.5x17 was a thing. They're both about the same price.

Well TR lists 1 in the 255/85 and 2 choices for 34x10.5. With that huge selection to choose from how would one choose!? Atleast the 255/85 measures 34.6”.
