Finally found my 1f984_417a409be799f6fcbee4ceb58ff25d5a640eb14b.png - RCSB Tundra with the 5.7, not a speck of rust, and only 109k. Already ripped off chrome handles, and will be paint matching bumpers and grille soon, tinting, and a few other small details possibly including wheels...plus a taller trailer hitch 1f440_a7c4b70470eff1cb6cc3bad73698620c11d8124e.png...

Long time Toyota enthusiast with many Land Cruisers, Runners, etc in my past but have been on the hunt for this rare configuration and finally she's mine. Looking forward to learning from everyone here.

Nice! It has lowering kit, does it have airbags too? Pic with trailer looks a bit saggy.
If you don't have them might be an idea. If you do, they need air I think.

First two weeks of ownership down, with the hideous aftermarket grille and chrome handles removed, and bumper and new grille paint matched.

Rear bumper just arrived today and will be paint matched this week, along with tint and hopefully the arrival of my new Alpharex Pro Black headlights. Coming together!

Damn that's nice. How long is that door? Can you lean back your seat pretty far?

Way long (I believe exact same size as any other Tundra front door), and a ton of room behind the seat for stuff or to recline. I’m 6’2” and look like a granny going down the road with all the space behind the back of the seat...

I'm digging the painted trd wheels with the white letters out.

The reg cab doors are longer than a double cab. I havent measured, I would guess about 7-8 inches. Toyota stretched the regular cab so the models with the 8 foot bed used the same frame as the double cab/crewmax. Seems like the hard way to do it to me, but toyota did similar ideas with the 1st gen tundra, T100, and tacomas too.

The seat leans back far enough to fall asleep easily on a roadtrip. If you want some cab space in a regular cab configuration, the 2nd/3rd gen tundra is the largest one you can buy. Too bad it's not made anymore. The big 3 aren't far behind though.
