So I empty my pockets again lol on some air design/warn fender flares and tires 275/70/18 and now I can’t figure out if I want to paint them or leave as is considering I have the midnight black metallic paint on the pro and leaning more toward painting, also curious if anybody knows the paint code of the midnight metallic black? here is a couple pics of how it sits now with tires upload_2019-8-19_14-48-57.jpg

    Bolt on
    Paint it.

Also spacers as recommended. Other wise fender flairs will look off with tires being tucked into wheel well.

Thanks it Looks good either way how’s the ride with the spacers any difference on the ride? Did you add the spacers just to be even with the flare? Or for inside turning clearance?

The ride seems to be the same maybe a little bumpier, I just added them because it looked weird without them as in the wheels looked way too tucked underneath the wells. the is a little rubbing in reverse only when the steering wheel is cranked all the way to the end.

Absolutely love it. I regret not doing some sort of rock guard protection myself. The inside of mine are hard to keep looking good.

I want flares for my pro but I only have 3k miles on it and dont want to replace my tires yet and I know that the flares are going to stick way further than the tires so I’m going to need spacers but trying to figure out if I need 1.25 or 1.50 spacers for my pro wheels

If you expect to take them off one day, you should run something like 3M door edge guard tape where the flare meets the fender. Even with the “no rub” gasket that goes between the hard edge of the flare and the painted fender surface it can rub the paint away due to dirt/dust getting between the fender and the flare. I wish I did that when I put flares on my truck. D1182CD4-6421-4CBE-8FBB-2709C0267E75.jpgD1182CD4-6421-4CBE-8FBB-2709C0267E75.jpg 99B059FC-068F-4BCD-B4BB-318D446D18A0.jpg

I like those flares, where did you get them? Name / brand? did you have to cut anything it looks like bolted from underneath?

Man, these look great. I'm torn on what I should do, I like the flares, but like 773 Eddie, I have fairly new tires on it.
Side question, can anyone tell me if spaces affect the towing? Ability, safety of, etc.?

    Thanks!
