So I installed my HD front bumper.

I had to take off the front fender flares

The ones from the factory are too elongated and won’t work

I need something that stops at the fender edge and does not continue down onto the bumper

From what I have seen, anything that I get makes me remove my mud flaps, which isn’t a compromise I’m willing to make

Is there anything out there that will work for me?

Yes I know most people will comment on Bushwackers. I was hoping that I’d find a front set that stopped shorter and matches what I had in the back from the factory. It would be less expensive that way.

Also, does anybody have any input on the Tyger brand “bushwhacker look alikes”?

    OK here are 3 photos

1 of the driver and passengers fenders/bumper

And also 1 of the factory fenders I took off. Where you see my finger in the picture is where it stops at the fender edge and contours out to cover over the factory bumper

I can’t use the original ones because the HD bumper sticks out from the sides and is not flush with the body like the OEM bumper was.

I had thought about just cutting off the flares but then there’d be a hole/opening for wind that would probably rip the flare off

The Bushwackers are what you are going to need. Let me find my pics....I have pics of Buchwackers with my RC bumper from my 2013.

So here is my 2013. You can see where the flare stops at the edge of the fender above the bumper cover. Is your bumper higher to where it is sitting right under the headlights? Post a pic from the front.

I’ll have to get a better pic of the HD bumper tomorrow during daylight.

Here’s a sideshow of the HD, and a closeup of the old stock bumper

It now sits higher,at the edge of the fender/headlight trim panel
