I don’t see the purpose of them. Other than making it harder to clean and being uglier. :D

To me i felt like they would help protect the paint from roost off the front tire. And little easier for wife and kids to use them as a step.

    Poooooor Bree. Haha!

Hey, post me the link to the best under-seat storage you've found. The last one I knew about was that one you found for Jeep. A guy that works for the manufacturer of the new center console safe is asking. Maybe you could get exactly what you want made for Tundra. We'd all benefit. Then, I dunno, take up a collection from grateful admirers to pay for you to get one....

Or send it in a PM if you don't want us to hi-jack this thread.

    You actually clean your truck!?
I just want it so it makes it easier to use it as a step. Without it feet can go through the opening?

Of course I clean my truck. I’ve hosed it down at least 10 times and used my foam cannon on it twice. Thought about waxing it one time too. Honestly it would take a real clutz to step through the opening. Once your kid is tall enough to be able to step up on her own, she won’t fall through. I’d say there’s a higher chance of spraining your ankle as you hit the ground than hurting yourself with your foot going through it. But I do suggest putting on some skateboard tape. It does get slippery when it’s wet. Just get what you think looks better. I know a lot of people like the looks of the fill plates. Just not me.

I honestly think it looks better without the fill plate. Just thought it makes it a better step with it. Anyone out there have had both can chime in? I’ve had sliders before without fill plates and thought it was a pain to use as steps. I never used it as steps because of that.

I'd be all over this if I had some spare lewt!

Just bought a new Mattress for the Queen, along with some new iron fencing for our garden, so I am tapped out =(
Still need to get some new headlights first, but these would be something in the future.

Thanks for thinking of me however!

Very funny. I was actually surprised and even commented about it 'cause Joon's truck looked clean BEFORE our last wheeling trip.
