    Hey folks,
Brand new to the forum. Took home a test drive 17 SR5 TRD DC inferno tonight and I love the truck. I was an owner of a 2003 regular cab Tundra and I loved it, jumped ship when gas hit $4 per gallon. I know this question is relative but I'm thinking about committing to that same truck in quicksand. Thoughts on that color? I'm not an inferno guy!
Hope to sign on the dotted line soon!

There are some really good color schemes. The quicksand is growing on me if it has the right wheels and accessories.

White, silver, blue, inferno are all some of my favorite colors. The cement is pretty sweet as well when you see it in person.

Awesome! You have a sense of humor.

    Welcome to the club bud.

The others would find my comment ironic since I no longer have a Tundra, but this is the best Tundra site by far, and if you want my opinion, one of the best sites overall.

Good luck on your decision. You have to love it, and then make it your own. Lots of great shots of everyone's Tundra on here.

Speakin' up for the Silver Sky crowd, I never really liked silver before buying my Platinum and I'm glad I did. I like the contrast with the black interior and it doesn't show the dirt/dust as much as other colors I've had. I know you weren't asking about silver, but I just has to speak up...:hattip:

Once you go black! On my fourth one, swore this one would be lighter. But couldn't pass up on the deal I got. Quicksand is a cool color, but I don't know about long turn. Better make sure you love it. Or you could wake up one morning saying to yourself.... Oh god, baby poop beige, what was I thinking?:ballchain::ballchain::ballchain:

There really isn't a bad color. I too love the quicksand but my wife ruled it out. Inferno has grown on me a lot too.

I'm a bit impartial to black, I love it, when it's clean for a few hours if lucky, when there's no swirls, dust, morning dew, etc.

Unless it's a second vehicle I may go with an easier color next time, but I plan to keep this truck for a long time!

Surrounding yourself with blue is proven to make you more productive. Because of that, studies have proven that lifters can handle more weight when a gym is painted blue.
Another way that lifters can handle heavier weight is via more testosterone. Testosterone comes from testcials. So, one could say the bigger your balls, the more testosterone you produce.

In other words, Blue truck = bigger balls.

Damn it, the inferno is growing on me! Do you guys think the resale value of the Inferno would be less than neutral colors? Not saying I want to trade or sell but what if I get in a situation where I have to?

Inferno, my favorite color. I don't see why Inferno color would lower the resale value.

I wasn't looking for Quicksand when I bought mine but when I saw it in person that's what I chose. My wife doesn't like it but it's not her truck. I really liked the Cement but I didn't want to pay for the Pro.

I was originally looking for Barcelona Red, but really wanted something more burgundy though. Dealer's in stock colors for Platinum were limited so I 'test' drove my Silver Sky and bought my first silver vehicle. As an aside, I noticed a few neighbors who have silver trucks (in another brand) and frequently are on construction or farm sites. They all said silver is an easy color to maintain and doesn't show the dirt like many others...no regrets...
