Fathers day

Let's see the man in your life. He doesn't have to be blood, just the man that you looked to as your father.
Here is the man that I was proud to have as my father. A WWII and Korean war veteran. He was a loving, yet stern when he had to. He taught me about life and also everything else. From plumbing to electrical to woodworking and welding. I lost him 4 years ago fathers day. I miss you pop!

 

My Father passed away two years ago.
I miss him every day.

 

I miss this guy bad taught me a lot, miss you Dad love you thank you

 

Happy Father's Day to all . I lost my Dad 7 years ago and it's been a tough road still. If I needed to talk sports, he was the guy. He was from Chicago and a huge Cubs fan. Just wished he could've witnessed there championship. Pretty damn good stick too, very seldom I beat him

 

Good memories.. Allows us to keep a sense of perspective and pass on the knowledge and love we experienced to our wife, sons, and daughters. Guess we can be thankful it's not commercialized and filled with artificial/superficial hoopla.

We know what counts lads.. Continue to fight the good fight.

 

I lost my dad 2 weeks before my 15th birthday. I miss him every day.

Happy Father's Day fellas! My dad is 72 and thankfully he's in great health. He's a vet, a DAV volunteer, a hunter ed instructor, a retired engineer and builder and a Tundra driver. He's still my favorite hunting and fishing partner and one hell of a great man and father. This is he and I from elk season a few years ago.

 

here's a pic of my dad (the only one looking at the camera) as the boat got ready to leave Naples Italy in 1958. Every time I think something is hard I think of how hard it would be to leave all of my family and friends to go somewhere where I knew no one. I lost him in 2002 and miss him like it was yesterday.
