the 'menu' that i was given to choose from had 75k, 100k, and 125k miles with a time ranging from 6 - 10 years.

with the mileage that i drive, i figured i would hit 125k miles before 10 years, but i still went with the longer term as i may drive less miles in the future than i do now.

Person asking about 10yr/75k looks to be in Colorado, I believe Spencer is for CA only. Troy offers plans at 6yr-10yr/75k-125k.

Hello all….Has anyone here purchased the Toyota extended warranty that is being offered by Granger for your Gen 3 Tundra? If so, what has your repair experience and coverage been like? Thanks in advance for any helpful information.

Anybody know who is able to sell in OR/WA? Looks like Troy is unable to sell in OR/WA/CA. I have a 7 yr./100k, but looking to possibly cancel it and re-purchase and save some $$ while still under factory warranty.

Anyone in Washington State looking for extended warranty? I might have a hookup for us but I want to bring at least 8-10 people to offer that are serious for this. If you can private message me I can get a list going and bring it to my buddy that I know and see what he says.

Anyone here from Florida buy an extended warranty?
I know this e-mail is posted tdietrich@toyotaofgreenfield.com but in Florida you apparently have to buy from a Florida authorized Extended Warranty person.
Florida has fixed pricing. Basically forced to buy MSRP.
Going to factor this into the cost of the overall truck cost.

My Lunar Rock Platinum arrives at my dealer in California between April 4-17 2026. It will be used only for road trips - I am keeping my 2019 Limited for daily use. I would like to buy a 10yr 100,000mile. I have bought 3 Tundras and 1 Rav4 from my dealer and the finance person is always detestable. I would love to have a warranty deal already negotiated. If anyone has a California contact for a 10yr 100k, can you PM me? Thanks.

Just worked with Troy to sort out my 24 Tundra Platinum. Emailed Troy on Sunday, discussed Monday and got everything taken care of by Wednesday; received paperwork by the following Monday. Troy was professional, answered all my questions and extremely prompt. Great experience. thanks again Troy for all your help

I contacted Troy earlier in the week via email. He responded the same day. Two days later, I had a signed and paid for 8-year Platinum Toyota extended warranty in place. I feel now feel better entering past the original 3 year, 36.0 k warranty.

First, not a lawyer, might have some points wrong, but pretty sure this matches what a former BMW finance manager verbally told me.

That's because FL dealers don't sell the Toyota USA Financial warranty package. I believe this applies to all the South East Toyota (SET) distributors group dealers - just not sure about outside of FL. Instead, they sell what basically amounts to an insurance policy through the JM&A Group. The JM&A Group is a division of JM Family Enterprises, who coincidentally also run the SET distributorship - the same folks who sell the vehicles to the dealers. And "insurance" is regulated by FL, as well as many other states. If they sold a factory sponsored warranty package like Toyota Financial Services, then competition in pricing would be allowed.

You can purchase a warranty as discussed in this thread from someone outside the the SET, even if the vehicle was bought in FL and it will cover you nation-wide subject to the various plans limitations (platinum, gold, deductible, etc.).

Also, I think a similar route is taken by the Lexus dealers, maybe under the same umbrella, that I don't know, but I do know the same sort of Lexus warranty can be found cheaper outside the SET area.

Thanks guys, for the suggestions in this thread! Went with Troy at Toyota and Ford of Greenfield. Super quick response and equally super rates for an extended warranty. Covered for the next 8/100K.

I'd like to publicly express my positive experience with both the quick response & in my opinion, the drastically lower costs of the options I wa quoted this week from Troy. I reached out using the contact info from this post, left a message and the next day or so was on the phone with him finalizing my terms and payment. Was much more cost-effective than the current 3rd party option I had. So if anyone is on the fence, let this record help make your decision.

Would like to elaborate a bit more on my purchase. I was reading through here and saw Spencer mentioned multiple times for those of us in California.

I sent an email to Spencer regarding a quote and received a quick response(under 5 minutes)with the catalog for available warranties for Toyotas.

I wanted a long warranty for peace of mind. The dealership offering was half the years and half the miles for DOUBLE the cost of what Spencer offers.

Keep in mind you must pay total warranty cost at one time.

I received a 10 year/125k Platinum warranty with $0 deductible for a little north of $2400. Overall very fast and pleasant experience and it’s nice to now know my new truck is covered for the long haul.

Yes I did the Platinum Plan through Fidelity and The 8 year maintenance plan, the Elite Tire and Wheel 8 year Plan and the Ceramic coat and Xzilon interior 8 year plan. The dealer also gave me, at no cost to me, lifetime on the drivetrain and turbos and lifetime oil changes. I paid a lot but as I'm getting in my last chapter of life, I didn't want to deal with any crap down the road. Peace of mind. I've had these plans on my other cars and trucks. I used it one time for a window regulator on my 2019 Rav4. Pricey yes but look at what we have to pay for these things.
