bakflip, it can fold all the way up to expose the whole bed. I have a Extang solid fold and really wish I had the Bakflip MX4

I like those features on the Bakflip as well but liked the easy install and take off feature of the Extang, 2 minute job for one person, in case I want to take off the cover. The only issue I have with the Solid fold 2.0 is that the front panel doesn't flip up unless u unlock the cover, so accessing front of bed is not readily available.

Solid Fold if you want someone to easily wedge it open and take your belongings, BakFlip is you want to have the opportunity to shoot them while they're trying to get in it. Plus its sleeker looking IMHO.

Interesting- so security is an issue with the Extang?

One of the best features is that with the MX4 you have the ability to open and close the tail gate with the cover completely closed. If I didn't have my tire gate that's the cover I'd have on my truck

Yup agreed. Also I like how the MX4 sits flush and you can't even tell it has a cover.

The Extang can also be fully closed without affecting tailgate opening/closing. I don't have any security concerns. If they really want to get in, they'll get in. Just research the hell out of covers and be sure what u want. I'm happy with my choice, especially since I got a like new in CL for about 1/2 new price.

Have you looked at the Bak Revolver x2? Gives you a lot of bed access when you need it.

Supersilvertundra on the forum has been able to get members pretty good deals. I just ordered my revolver x2 from him, you might want to shoot him a pm.

MX4 for sure. Really sleek and great quality.

Friend at work has one and it will defiantly be my choice should I choose to buy a tonneau cover.

Nice! I just ordered a Bakflip. Should be able to install next weekend. I have a tri fold extang on the taco and have had no issues, Ive beat the piss out of it over the years. Thought id try something different and based on the reviews, I made a good choice.

Any security issues with the Extang? Some claim it is easy for wrongdoers to open.

The MX4 can hold up to 400 lbs of evenly distributed weight.
