I am looking at putting a cai and an exhaust system on my truck. My question is I use my Bluetooth a lot due to traveling for work and am curious if anyone is having problems with exhaust drowning out their Bluetooth systems? What is a good exhaust system to get a good note but not be overly loud? I am new to the forum. I'm sure this question has been asked but I couldn't find anything.

Look in to corsa, I heloped a buddy install that system on his truck and it sounded amazing. Once I pick up a 2017 that's what's going on mine as well.

I know you said you wanted single out. Anyone reading this thread that doesn't mind double out, I could not recommend the TRD more!! It is perfect. Loud when you want and quiet when you want. I'm so glad I got it.

Does the tes bolt right up or do you have to weld new hangers or anything to go to duals with it

TRD is a direct bolt on application. Most guys have the install complete in 30-45 minutes.

I have a single out corsa on mine and it's like a factory when you want and sounds great when you want. No drone.

When you call Keith at 1-760-877-4234,he'll explain why our Tundras' keep all their low-end "grunt", by staying with the stock tailpipe. After having Corsa'a Touring catback with their 3" tailpipe ,on my 2010,I could tell a difference in responce off the line. After buying and installing Keith's 10" system and keeping Toyota's stock tailpipe,my low-end at idle and light throttle, returned. If you're after a system just a 'whisper' over stock, (untill you open 'er up):D then Keith's 10 or 12" single system will be ideal. My 10" catback is just right for me,even while towing.Call him and be prepared to learn more than you thought possible, about our Trucks exhaust:thumbsup:

Agree, love mine too. Got it installed a week ago at 2,700 miles. I haven't sensed any loss in low end power either. Not doubting there may be a little, but if so it's nothing noticeable to me.

If "loud" is somehow an expectation, I'd recommend TRD. Although you will get feedback about it's restrictive characteristics, it is held to a strict decibel and is IMO, tuned very well to stay within that while some of these other exhaust options do not. I have had the BA 8" system and although, it was of great quality, Keith is a great guy it was however louder than I wanted. I had it on my truck for 2 weeks before removing it. I wanted mild not wild. Since then, I have made it simple and decided to go with the TRD after hearing it in person. This is not to say that the truck isn't wild, my sound preferences aren't when it comes to exhaust. Music, yes.

It was only a guess that the 8" system was going to be too loud for me. After much research and telling Keith about how I liked my Corsa Touring system's sound,(even while towing) he recommended his 10" single in Stainless. That was over 3 years ago. Pulling the same boat over the same roads with the same load, the difference in low-end grunt between Corsa's 3" tailpipe and Toyota's stock size pipe became evident.Running around with an empty truck, not as much, but I still needed more throttle pressure, to get truck rolling with the Corsa System. On a Dual System according to Keith, adding an X-Pipe will help with "Grunt-Loss".My Brother has Keith's Dual System with TRD Pipes and is pleased with it. He "needed" a Dual Exhaust System!:D

    thanks for the mentions guys.

if trd sound is what you're looking for, and the low end torque of single exhaust, then get our 10" system.

if something that I build is too loud or too quiet, let me know and I'll send a new on rebuilt louder or quieter based on your feedback, free.

we are the only exhaust company that warranties the sound.

and we are the only exhaust company that has literally 100's of options for a tundra and will custom build the perfect system for you and your use of the truck. Your system won't cost an arm and a leg either:)

Knew you were a great guy Keith, but WOW ! Good luck finding another exhaust company to warranty the sound ! That's why Keith's name is so big in the exhaust industry. Keep up the great work my friend. :oldglory:

As someone that buys a lot of aftermarket stuff for the various rides - that has to be the best guarantee and situation I've seen.....ever.

    Well done Sir...
