    Good Morning Everyone!

Tomorrow is the big day. Heading over to Eastern Washington bright and early to get my 2017 Tundra Platinum. I feel like a kid before Christmas to say the least. :bananadance:

So my question of the day comes in two parts. How is the Tundra as your everyday city driver and what do you do for a living?

I work with CEO's and Physicians and my Tundra will by main ride for sales and client calls and I am curious if anyone else uses it in the same type of role.

Sorry, can't help over here. Mine is a garage queen. But since you're going platinum, it'll be nice for your role, kinda like a sequoia with a bed.

When I travel I rent a car or Uber as needed. My company shoots me car allowance and mileage so it works out well.

Drive mine about an hour every day. Mostly city driving, it's not bad, I fill up about once a week...week and a half.

    I'm in quality control....(that's why I got a tundra!)

My Tundra is my dd and I love it. I drive about 15 miles a day, 1/3 in town 25 to 35 mph and 2/3 highway at 70-75 mph. It's averaging around 14 in town and 18 highway. I'm just a lowly wrench turner at a truck accessory shop lol, so it's just me in the truck most of the time...and a gun, bow, flyrod, dog...
My brother however, is an insurance consultant and my aunt is a corporate lawyer, both drive Tundras and both use them to cart around clients, coworkers, ceo's and cfo's and neither has ever mentioned anything about appearance or the fact that they drive a truck.

I prefer to drive my bad ass Tundra everywhere everyday. I live out in the sticks but work 3 twelve hour shifts downtown Charlotte, resulting in 35 minute commute each way. Evening drives home I prefer to roll all five windows down blasting Cash or Stapleton or even Pearl Jam. I just pull my Carry close in the sketch side of town.

Plainly your truck is a Bamf. Good luck staying from behind the wheel.

I love my Tundra as my DD... and my wife practically insists we travel in it instead of her Outback for road trips. Fine with me... I just plan on spending a little more for fuel. LOVE the larger fuel tank!

I DD my truck. 7.6 mi round trip to work. Some days more if I've got errands or pick my daughters up from school. Ive got just over 16,000 on it and had it 2yrs and 2 months. Most of my miles came from trips and when i was going to school twice a week for the first year of ownership. I loved every second of driving it. Just not parking my new truck around all the college kids. Plus the miles were adding up quick.

Its my daily, I've had it 7 or 8 months and it's at 15k miles. I'll easily put 5-6 more on it with vacation this summer. I'll be putting about 2500 in a week on it just to have my stereo done in Texas.

My daily driver bounces back and forth between my Tundra and my work vehicle, a Silverado 2500 (@ColoradoTJ doesn't need to tell anyone it's really a 1500...the 2500 sounds better) depending on how many kids i have to get to school that day.

I love it but my MPGs are pretty tough to deal with. Actually, it's not the MPGs, it's the money that pours out the window. I'm actually putting 3000 miles per month and still love driving that regardless of the amount of money it costs.

Holy crap 3000 miles per month that's crazy! I've had my truck a month now so I've been driving it as much as I can and I've only gotten 800 in a month lol

    I drive a lot

Let me correct my statement. Ill give you exact details...

1/31 Purchased - almost no miles (only 21) on it
    3/22 First 5000 mile service
    5/27 9550 miles on it

So in reality it's a little less than my original claim

    Still...10,000 in 4 months is a lot

I drive my Platinum Tundra for most of the day to check on my job sites. Usually 100 plus miles a day. So I'm doing 3,000 miles a month as well. I use my truck for everything from work, play, kids and leisure. Fourth Tundra I've owned and second Platinum Tundra.

I've done 81k on my 16 so far it's my daily driver for everything. I'm doing about 5k a month give or take. It's great for everything but you'll be sticking out in parking ramps for sure. My truck sticks out almost 2 feet in most parking ramps and I've only got a 6 foot box.

My Tundra is my daily driver, I own my own Property Maintenance company. I do a lot of driving, anywhere from 60-80miles a day usually average day is about 60 though., bed is always full of tools and I tow my trailer half the week sometimes more. This truck has been great to me so far, bought it in march and I'm at 5200miles now. Yeah gas isn't that great yada yada, its a full-size truck. I had a 2014 Silverado I traded on this truck 4.3, 2wd and my average doing the same driving was 15.6, my Tundra has been getting 14.2 average and I gained v8 and 4wd so I'm happy. Enjoy the truck and drive the heck out of it!

I drive my 2002 Tundra as my DD with a 18 mile round trip daily and then use my 2016 Pro for the weekend.
