    Hi checking to see if anyone got referrals for a reputable Toyota mechanic that works on engine/tranny (89 pick up sr5). Planning to swap out a 3.0 to 3.4. Looking for someone around Central Valley California…Fresno, merced, Modesto…maybe Stockton/Sacramento depend on pricing.

    I don't know too many of the toyota junkies around 559 now, there's no shortage of them though. Things have changed a lot, so many long time shops have disappeared from the area, along with parts suppliers, I'm a former shop owner that lost it all, due to a greedy sibling that ripped off the whole family.
