So I'm new to the Tundra world. I have researched a lot of upgrades for the LS1 motors and its endless. What can we do internally to these 5.7's to bump the HP with some hand tools?? For example, upgraded valve springs, pushrods, cam, built port n polished heads? Nobody seems to discuss these things so I wasn't sure if Toyota already took care of it or not.

I've seen a couple guys, on a different forum, that have replaced internals. If you slap a blower, smaller pulley, and headers on, you still shouldn't need to change anything inside the motor. It just doesn't seem to be very common digging into these motors. I could be wrong, but it doesn't seem like it.

His Tundra put out some juice. Not sure if he got into the internals.

I miss my LS1 in the Goat. 150 wet shot of NO2, $380 Lont Tube headers and a tune was netting 575rwhp on the dyno (and that was way over on the "safe" side of the tune. That daily driver ran 11.79 in the 1/4 mile...on street rubber...and trapped @ 127. Better rubber would've helped the launch, as my 60 ft time was 2.2 sec.

Man I miss that car!! She was allll shit n git!!!

Install. Magnisson blower to keep it simple. That pits you to the limit of what the stock internals will be able to deal with.
