Got a question. When I start my 2019 I hear clicking/tapping from the engine. Doesn’t do it if you shut off and restart. I don’t recall this in my 2013 TSS. Does anyone else have the same thing?

Mine was doing the same thing. Toke it to dealership and pickup 3 days later and said nothing was wrong with it. Traded it in shortly after but if you search the website and youtube it seems to be the driver side top timing chain tensioner. The noise you hear is the timing chain tensioner guide. Usually made the noise when below 28 degrees. After it warmed up it goes away.

Hmm. That is interesting. I live in Houston and I can nearly count the minutes on one hand that it has been under 28 degrees. Haha. I will have to search and see if it is a problem or just a noise. If there is no issue then I won’t worry too much.

My 2019 PRO does the same thing. I treat it like a sore dick and a rattlesnake and don't F**K with it. The truck is under warranty. Drive it like you stole it. Party On.

I use to hear that but when I checked my oil level it was a little low, and when i topped it up never heard it again. I would check it out and see if that’s the case wouldn’t hurt.
