    First off.. Welcome.
Secondly, the dealership is alleging that your Tundra out of the entire assembly line got your wires installed wrong? Lol.
Are we talking about the vapor canister? Those lines can break I suppose.. Takes 5 minutes to fix. Air injection check valve?
Do we have a code to work with? Nobody needs a truck for a few days to troubleshoot this. Testing wires? Lol.
I'm sorry. I know it's warranty and your stuck at the dealer, but you might consider elevating this to a shop manager. Sounds like someone needs a swift kick in the ass.

    What dealership is this?

Sent you a PM.. Hang in there brother.. Easy fix. Truck will likely outlive you.

I know I recommended the evap canister and it's affiliated lines.. Is that the evap box? Pump and its lines? P2400

There are a few different reasons why P2400 would set:

    • The most obvious would be that the leak detection pump motor has failed. A failure of the pump motor could cause an open or short circuit in the leak detection pump control circuit.
    • Next would be a leak or damage to the hoses that connect the pump to the EVAP system. This would cause a condition where the pump control circuit would be good, but the computer does not see the right reaction from the system.
    • The final problem could be with the wiring or the ECM itself.
In short, it seems your evap canister is toast, or the hoses to and from that relay information to your ECM.

You may have over filled your tank and damaged your canister, bad line, snagged or damaged line, etc.

I'd focus on the lines into your evap canister and if not remedied, the canister itself, clear codes and wait.

Since it's under warranty, push them into the evap category, not the 1000 miles of wiring the factory installed.

Update: dealer put on new canister, still no change, they contacted Toyota and were told it is a electrical issue as previous parts did not work, dealer checked all pins as Toyota instructed and light still on, now Toyota says they will have to start on wiring
