Having some trouble with an engine i rebuilt for this.
I have assembled it and turned it on but i have 90-100 psi per cylinder. I thought i didn’t torque the head correctly but i reviewed the video i recorded and i did torque it correctly. 27+90degrees+90degrees. Anyone know what the total ft lbs would equal? I want to make sure i tightened them properly.
I have yet to do a wet test.
Anyone here suggest anything else to check? Also i did set piston #1 to tdc when setting timing and my neighbor said it was good. Piston rings were also done correctly unless when i compressed then the upper rings shifted. But i don’t think so because the compression is to even among them. Though that’s why I’m going to try a wet test.

Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Did you pin the throttle open for the compression test?

Pin? I held the gas pedal
Since it’s electronic i didn’t pay attention to see if it actually opened.
