Crazy to say this but I have never in my life cleaned the engine bay of any vehicle. I want to add this to my agenda of keeping my Tundra clean. Any of y’all do this and anything for me to watch out for? TIA.

    Too many mods to come
I do mine frequently. Citrus based engine degreaser and don't water spray directly on to fuse block. Easy

Yeah don’t use high pressure just normal water hose cover anything up that might be to sensitive and I do it with a cold engine to avoid cracking the block

Bucket of Hot Water, Simple Green, and some good strong Microfiber Cloths.

Mix the Simple Green in the Hot Water Bucket, toss-in the cleaning cloth, remove cloth and wring it out. Wipe areas with cloth. When cloths get dirty, toss it back in the bucket and wring it out and repeat. When cleaning water gets too dirty, dump it and mix up another batch. Start with the under side of the hood and work your way down into the Engine Bay. To detail components in the Engine Bay, use some Vinyl and Rubber Protectant on the plastics and the rubber hoses. I like Adams VRT for this. It is not sticky and doesn't attract and hold dirt/dust.

I'm not real keen on spraying water (hose) into an Engine Bay.

I have less than fond memories of a small underhood fire the morning my Dad started the 59 Fury to head to California from Ohio. The day before he washed the engine bay.

I have always been a little nervous to spray water around all the electrical stuff!

I go straight to the car wash bay and turn it on presoak if they have that option...spray it on trying to avoid fuse box and wiring on that side...let it soak and then use low pressure spot free setting to rinse. Works pretty well and never a problem.
