I just has a set of Eibach 3” lift front coilovers installed on my 2017 Tundra SR5 crewmax 4x4. Issue I noticed is my stock height before install was 22” front center of hub. After install with vehicle sitting on level ground I am only getting 2 1/8” lift on driver side and 2 3/8” lift on passenger side. Now measures 24 1/8” and 24 3/8” respectively. This is with stock tires and wheels. Is this normal to be that much less than the advertised lift of the coilovers I got?

No I got them through Rogue Offroad in LV. They had to order them from some place in PA and yes I’m a Fuels troop - 23 yrs retired AF.

Correct the Eibachs installed are a complete coil over assembly including new eibach springs. Stock springs are removed.

I am not sure where you got 3" from but on the website it is says 2.5" and you got close to that number. I did notice that the same kit for older Tundras says 3", but for your model it is 2.5". Part number for your truck is E60-82-079-02-10 and it states 2.5"

Thanks for the info. I did not get the part # of the ones installed to verify at time of installation. The receipt provided only says 3” coilover for 2007 to

I am not sure why there are two part numbers for Tundras and why one says 3" and one says 2.5". I would not trust that invoice because somebody just wrote it--it is not from Eibach.

How do you like them and how do they ride? I want to raise my front about 1 inch but I don't want a rough ride. Thanks

I do like them. Ride quality on road is improved somewhat over stock. I have not done any off roading with them but they seem to handle speed bumps and potholes very well. I drive 90-95% highway with occasional off road for fishing/hunting trips meaning I travel fire roads or farm roads - nothing extreme. No rock crawling. Looking for increase in ground clearance so I can eventually go with a 33” diameter AT tire vs the stock tires I have now. I was looking for 2.5 to 3” of lift in front and 1” in rear with Toytec shackles I had same shop install plus I have Airlift airbags in rear as well for towing to level truck out when I’m loaded down with a travel trailer. Seems to all ride good so far - I keep about 300# of tools/off road/camping gear in bed all the time so it softens the ride in back.

Here’s some pics of the installed coilovers:

I misread you posts earlier. I thought you had the bare shocks without the springs (you can do it either way). I see that you have the shocks and springs. The shocks and springs definitely state 2.5" on the bottom perch position of the shock and 3.1" on the second to the bottom perch position. It states that you cannot use any of the other positions with their springs (only factory springs). The instructions are in the pdf for the springs on their website under the documents" tab for those springs. I attached it to this post. If you wanted 3" you installed them on the wrong perch.

Their springs are too much lift for what I am trying to do and thus I am only looking at putting the same shocks on without the springs.

Thanks for the info. I’ll review the instructions and go back and have the shop redo or as they say if you what something done right....gotta do it yourself! I had the shop install the units so I’m thinking they used the wrong c-clip position for the perch to rest on. Should be the next one up to get the 3”. Hope pics helped with your decision on what you need. The Toytec shackles I used( had to cuz of the airbags- blocks not allowed) are bullet proof they are substantially beefier and adjustable. 0 - 1.5” in rear lift. Very pleased with them. I shoulda gone through Toytec for everything including the coilovers. Thanks again for all the info much appreciated!

I just purchased today the Eibach front shocks that you have (without the springs) for my 2016 Tundra. I plan to install them with my factory springs at the 1.25" or 1.9" (do not want to have to do anything to the rear). I also purchased today Old Man Emu rear shocks for a little mix and match.
